Pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan scientific merupakan suatu pendekatan dalam pembelajaran yang secara sengaja mengaitkan beberapa aspek baik dalam segi kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif antar mata pelajaran. Tahap pembelajaran tematik dengan pendekatan scientific yaitu dengan tahap mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba, membentuk jejaring.
Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di kelas IV SDN 006 Tanjung Palas dengan subjek penelitian 30 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua alternatif tindakan yaitu siklus I dan siklus II yang terdiri dari tiga pertemuan dari setiap siklus, di akhir setiap siklus dilakukan tes pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah pengamatan keterampilan siswa, pengamatan sikap siswa dan pengamatan keterampilan mengajar guru.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, hasil tes ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I sebesar 63,3% sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 76,7%. Pengamatan sikap siswa pada siklus I menunjukan 64,5% dan pada siklus II 75,4%. Rata-rata keterampilan siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75,3% dan pada siklus II menjadi 75,4%. Sedangkan keterampilan mengajar guru pada siklus I yaitu 67,7% dan pada siklus II sebesar 80,3%.
Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan Scientific dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada tema selalu berhemat energi di kelas IV SDN 006 Tanjung Palas Tahun Pembelajaran 2014/2015.

Thematic learning with scientific approach is a learning approach that intentionally linking several aspects like cognitive, psychomotor, and affective among subjects. Thematic learning phase with a scientific approach is observing, questioning, associating, experimenting, and networking. The research was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2014/2015 at IV grade of SDN 006 Tanjung Palas with 30 students as the research subject. The research was conducted with two alternative treatments named the first cycle and second cycle consisting of three meetings of each cycle, at the end of each cycle student's understanding on the material was tested. Data collection techniques were observation on students' skills, observation on students „attitudes and observation on teaching skills of the teacher. Based on the research that had been conducted, the results of test on learning mastery in the first cycle was 63.3%, while in the second cycle was 76.7%. Observation of students‟ attitudes on the first cycle showed 64.5% and 75.4% in the second cycle. The average of students‟ skills in the first cycle was 75.3% and in the second cycle was 75.4%. While the teaching skills of teacher in the first cycle was 67.7% and in the second cycle was 80.3%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of scientific approach can improve students'‟ learning outcome on the theme Always Save Energy at VI grade of SDN 006 Tanjung Palas Academic Year 2014- 2015.
