Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik pada tema kerajinan tangan melalui pendekatan scientific dengan metode project based learning di kelas III SDN 001 Kecamatan Peso. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdapat 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, lembar penilaian psikomotorik siswa, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan lembar aktivitas pengamatan guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran.
Rata-rata hasil belajar pada aspek psikomotorik untuk semua aspek yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus I ke siklus II meningkat sebesar 14,28. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar pada aspek kognitif meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II. Maka, presentase keberhasilan belajar secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 66,67% meningkat menjadi 81,48% pada siklus II.
Kesimpulan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini adalah penggunaan pendekatan scientific dengan metode project based learning pada pembelajaran tematik tema lingkungan di kelas III SDN 001 Kecamatan Peso dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

This research was to improve the student's achievement on Thematic subject in handicrafts through scientific approach at third grade of SDN 001 Peso. The research design of this research was Class action Research (CAR), it consisted of four steps, the first step was planning, the second is Implementing, the third is observation and the last was reflection. The research instruments of this research were observation sheet dan test. Based on the result of this research, the average of the students' performance on psychomotor can be seen from the first cycle to the second cycle was 14.28% improving. Meanwhile, the students’ cognitive performance can be seen from the first cycle to the second cycle was 81.48% improving. It can be concluded that teaching media can improve the students' performance on thematic subject at third grade of SDN 001 Peso.
