Pendekatan Scientific merupakan konsep dasar yang menginspirasi atau melatarbelakangi perumusan metode mengajar dengan menerapkan karakteristik yang ilmiah. Proses pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Scientific disajikan dengan tahap mengamati, menanya, mencoba, menalar, membentuk jejaring.
Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di kelas V SDN 011 Tanjung Palas Tengah dengan subjek penelitian 13 siswa yang terdiri dari 9 siswa laki-laki dan 4 siswa perempuan. Penelitian dilakujan sebanyak dua siklus yang terdiri dari dua pertemuan dari setiap siklus dan di akhir setiap siklus dilakukan tes pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Tekhnik pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi pengamatan keterampilan mengajar guru, pengamatan sikiap siswa dan pengamatan keterampilan siswa.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 62% sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 77%. Pengamatan sikap siswa pada siklus I yaitu 66,9% dan pada siklus II 75,2%. Ratarata keterampilan siswa pada siklus I sebesar 72,2% dan pada siklus II menjadi 78,1%. Sedangkan keterampilan mengajar guru pada silkus I yaitu sebesar 70,9% dan pada siklus II yaitu 76,4%.
Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan Scientific dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hitungan bilangan bulat di kelas V SDN 011 Tanjung Palas Tengah.

Scientific approach is the basic concept that inspires or behind the formulation of teaching methods by applying scientific characteristics. Scientific approach to the learning process is presented with stage observe, ask, try, reasoning, establishing networks. The experiment was conducted in the first semester of the school year 2014/2015 in class V SDN 011 Tanjung Palas Tengah with 13 students who study subjects consisted of 9 boys and 4 girls. The study was conducted by two cycles consisting of two meetings of each cycle and at the end of each cycle tests students’ understanding of the subject matter. Data collection techniques such as observation sheets teachers’ teaching skills of observation, observation of student's attitudes and observation skills of students. Based on the research that has been conducted, the thoroughness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 62%, while in the second cycle was 77%. Observation of students’ attitude in the first cycle is 66.9% and 75.2% in the second cycle. The average skills of students in the first cycle of 72.2% and in the second cycle to 78.1%. While the teaching skills of teachers in the first cycle is 70.9% and in the second cycle is 76.4%. Based on this study it can be concluded that the adoption as learning by using Scientific approach can improve student learning outcomes in a matter material integer in class V SDN 011 Tanjung Palas Tengah.
