Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi proses daur air menggunakan pendekatan scientific pada siswa kelas V-A SDN 012 Tarakan.
Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan pada semester II tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai tanggal 1 Mei - 30 Juni 2014. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas V-A SDN 012 Tarakan dengan jumlah 31 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan scientific dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa materi proses daur air di kelas V-A SDN 012 Tarakan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil yang diperoleh pada setiap siklus, sebelum diberikan tindakan ketuntasan belajar adalah 45% dan setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I ketuntasan hasil belajar kognitif siswa menjadi 81% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87%. Ketuntasan hasil belajar psikomotorik siswa siklus I 68%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 84%. Kemudian hasil belajar afektif siklus I 65%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 81%.
Kesimpulan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan scientific dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya mata pelajaran IPA.

The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of science material recycling process water using a scientific approach in class VA SDN 012 Tarakan. Research type used by researchers is Classroom Action Research (CAR) is implemented in the second semester of the school year 2013/2014. This study was conducted starting on 1 May to 30 June 2014, the research subject is class VA SDN 012 Tarakan the number of 31 students. This study was conducted by 2 cycles, each consisting of four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that by using a scientific approach can improve student learning outcomes IPA water recycling material in class VA SDN 012 Tarakan. It can be seen from the results obtained in each cycle, before the given action passing grade is 45 % and after a given action in the first cycle of cognitive mastery learning outcomes of students to 81 % in the second cycle increased to 87 %. Mastery of psychomotor learning outcomes of students 68 % first cycle, the second cycle increased to 84 %. Then affective learning outcomes 65 % first cycle, the second cycle increased to 81%. Conclusion The study uses a scientific approach can improve student learning outcomes, especially science subjects. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Scientific Approach, Water Cycle Process
