Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik Siswa kelas II pada tema Binatang dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture di SDN 009 Tanjung Selor.
Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus dilakukan 2 pertemuan, dan setiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, lembar penilaian aktivitas siswa dan lembar aktivitas guru.
Hasil belajar yang diperoleh pada pembelajaran dengan tema binatang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture di kelas II SDN 009 Tanjung Selor yaitu untuk siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 67,03 dengan ketuntasan hanya 42%, sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata 80,6 dengan ketuntasan 81%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture di Kelas II SDN 009 Tanjung Selor, khususnya tema binatang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes thematic class II on the theme of animals by using cooperative learning model picture and picture in SDN 009 Tanjung Selor. Classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle conducted two meetings, and each cycle consists of four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used were a test of learning outcomes, assessment of student activity sheets and activity sheets teachers. Results obtained in the study of learning on the theme of animals using cooperative learning model picture and picture-in-class II SDN 009 Tanjung Selor is to cycle I gained an average of 67.03 with completeness only 42%, while in the second cycle gained an average of 80,6 to 81% completeness. Based on these results it can be concluded that the learning activities through cooperative learning model picture and picture in Class II SDN 009 Tanjung Selor, especially the theme of animals can improve student learning outcomes.
