Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada materi rumah sehat dengan penerapan metode demonstrasi berbantuan media gambar di kelas I SDN 015 Tanjung Selor. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui 2 cara, yaitu observasi dan tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, lembar penilaian psikomotorik siswa, lembar penilaian afektif siswa dan lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran.
Rata-rata hasil belajar pada aspek afektif untuk semua aspek yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus I ke siklus II meningkat sebesar 18,70 yaitu siklus I rata-rata afektif siswa memperoleh nilai sebesar 70,10 dan siklus II mencapai rata rata 88,80. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar pada aspek psikomotorik siklus I memperoleh nilai 67,20 dan meningkat di siklus II menjadi 84,30. Pada ranah kognitif meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II secara signifikan. Persentase keberhasilan belajar secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 65,00% meningkat menjadi 80,00% pada siklus II.
Kesimpulan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini adalah penerapan metode demonstrasi berbantuan media gambar pada materi rumah sehat di kelas I SDN 015 Tanjung Selor dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS.

Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to improve learning outcomes in the material IPS healthy home with the adoption of media-assisted demonstration image in the first grade at SDN 015 Tanjung Selor. Classroom Action Research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages is planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques used through two ways, namely observation and tests. Data collection instruments used were a test of learning outcomes, student assessment sheets psychomotor, affective student assessment sheets and sheets of observations of teachers in the management of learning activities. The average results of study on the affective aspect for all aspects by the students in the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 18.70 which is the first cycle an average of affective students received grades of 70.10 and second cycle reached an average of 88.80. While the average learning outcomes in psychomotor aspects of cycle I scored 67.20 and increased in the second cycle into 84.30. In the cognitive domain increased from the first cycle to the second cycle significantly. Percentage of classical learning success in the first cycle of 65.00% increase to 80.00% in the second cycle. Conclusion Action Research (PTK) is the application of media-assisted method of demonstration images on the material in the first-grade healthy home SDN 015 Tanjung Selor can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning.
