Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn materi globalisasi menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas IV-C SDN 004 Tarakan.
Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di SDN 004 Tarakan pada semester II tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV-C SDN 004 Tarakan yang berjumlah 26 siswa dengan siswa laki-laki berjumlah 13 siswa dan perempuan berjumlah 13 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Prosedur tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi kegiatan siswa, lembar observasi kegiatan guru, penilaian aspek kognitif (tes hasil belajar), aspek afektif (kerjasama kelompok), dan aspek psikomotorik (presentasi kelompok).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif teknik STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn materi globalisasi siswa kelas IV-C SDN 004 Tarakan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil yang diperoleh pada setiap siklus, sebelum diberikan tindakan ketuntasan belajar hanya 3,6% dan setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif menjadi 73% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 88%. Pada siklus I ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif 81% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 100%. Kemudian pada siklus I ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa aspek psikomotorik 81% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 92%. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa penelitian sudah berhasil dan sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan.

The aim of this research is to increase the results of learning civics using typed STAD of cooperative learning model to grade IV-C learners at SDN 004 Tarakan. This is a classroom action research which was conducted during the second semester of 2015/2016. The subjects were 26 learners of SDN 004 Tarakan, 13 males and 13 females. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consists of two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research instruments consisted of observation sheets of learners’ activities, observation sheets of teacher’s activities, tests on cognitive aspect, assessment sheets of learners’ affective aspect (group work), and psychomotor aspect (group presentation). The research findings showed that the use of STAD technique was able to improve learners’ learning achievements in civics topic of globalization. This can be seen from learning results of each cycle. Before given the treatment, the learners’ level of minimum accomplishment was 3,6 %. For the cognitive aspect, after given the treatment the level reached 73% at the first cycle and 88% at the second one. For the affective aspect, the level was 81% at the first cycle and reached 100% at the second one. For the psychomotor aspect, the level reached 81% at the first cycle and 92% at the second one.
