Abstract
berfungsi sebagai tempat mencari makan maupun pembesaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui morfometri dan tingkat kematangan telur kepiting bakau betina (Scylla serrata) di KKMK Kelurahan Pamusian. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Pengamatan dilakukan pada 3 (Tiga) titik stasiun dan masing-masing stasiun terdiri dari 3 plot. Pada setiap plot masing-masing di pasang 2 buah bubu lipat. Hasil tangkapan yang didapatkan sebanyak 24 ekor yang terdiri dari 9 ekor betina dan 15 ekor jantan. Hasil frekuensi kelas ukuran panjang tubuh kepiting bakau terbesar di KKMK Kelurahan Pamusian terdapat pada interval kelas 6 – 6,9 cm dengan persentase 38 % dari total tangkapan sebanyak 9 ekor. Hasil pengukuran lebar karapas kepiting bakau didapatkan 6 kelas ukuran lebar karapas. Perhitungan kelas ukuran lebar karapas ditentukan berdasarkan jarak interval dari ukuran lebar karapas terkecil dengan nilai 8 -12 cm dengan persentase 33%. Hasil distribusi frekuensi kelas ukuran berat tubuh kepiting bakau terbesar di KKMK Kelurahan Pamusian terdapat pada interval kelas 84 – 139 gr dengan persentase 38 %. Tingkat kematangan telur kepiting bakau betina yang didapatkan di KKMK Kelurahan Pamusian terdapat TKO I, TKO II dan TKO III karena kepiting bakau memanfaatkan ekosistem mangrove sebagai tempat mencari makan (Feeding ground).

The mangrove ecosystem was one of the habitats for mangrove crabs that functioned as a place for foraging and breeding. This study aimed to determine the Morphometry and maturity level of female mangrove crab eggs (Scylla serrata) in KKMK of Pamusian Village. The sampling method was the purposive sampling. The observations were conducted at 3 (three) stations and each station consisted of 3 plots. On each plot was put 2 bamboo fish traps. The catch obtained was 24 crabs consisting of 9 females and 15 males of mangrove crabs. The frequency results of the largest mangrove crab body length class in KKMK of Pamusian Village were in interval class of 6 – 6,9 cm with a percentage of 38% from the total catch of 9 crabs. The results of measuring the width of the mangrove crab carapace obtained of 6 classses of carapace width measurements. The calculation of the carapace width size class was determined based on the interval distance from the size of the smallest carapace width with a value of 8 – 12 cm with a percentage of 33%. The results of the frequency distribution of the largest mangrove crab body weight size class in KKMK Pamusian Village were found in the class interval of 84 – 139 gr with a percentage of 38%. The maturity level of female mangrove crab eggs obtained at KKMK Pamusian Village was TKO I, TKO II and TKO III because mangrove crabs used the mangrove ecosystem as a place to forage (Feeding ground).
