Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Fun Thinkers Book serta mengetahui kelayakan dan respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran Fun Thinkers Book pada materi IPA organ gerak hewan dan manusia kelas V SDN 050 Tarakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan alur model ADDIE. Menurut Hamzah (2019:33) ADDIE merupakan model pengembangan berorientasi kelas. Proses pengembangan berurutan namun interaktif, yaitu hasil evaluasi setiap tahap dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan ke tahap berikutnya. Model ADDIE terdiri dari 5 tahapan yakni Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni pedoman wawancara, lembar validasi ahli materi, media, bahasa, praktisi dan lembar angket respon siswa. Produk media pembelajaran Fun Thinkers Book berukuran A4 (21 cm x 29,7 cm) yang terbuat dari hard cover, kertas stiker dan art paper. Hasil validasi yang diperoleh dari ahli media sebesar 90%, ahli media 87,77%, ahli bahasa 83,33%, ahli praktisi 86,66% dan rata-rata persentase skor validasi dari keempat validator sebesar 86,94%. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi, media, bahasa dan praktisi menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Fun Thinkers Book sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil angket respo¬n siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran Fun Thinkers Book pada uji coba terbatas memperoleh persentase skor sebesar 88,70% dan uji coba lapangan memperoleh persentase skor sebesar 95,01% sehingga rata-rata pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan memperoleh rata-rata skor persentase sebesar 91,85% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, media, bahasa, praktisi serta angket respon siswa pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan maka, media pembelajaran Fun Thinkers Book dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

The present research was a research and development that aimed to develop Fun Thinkers Book learning media and to find out the feasibility and response of students to Fun Thinkers Book learning media on science material of animal and human organs of motion for class V of SDN 050 Tarakan. This research used a type of Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE model flow. According to Hamzah (2019:33), ADDIE is a class-oriented development model. The development process sequential but interactive, that is, the results of the evaluation of each stage can be used for development to the next stage. This model consists of 5 stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection instruments were the interview guideline, the validation sheets for the material expert, the media expert, the linguits, the practitioner, and the student's response questionnaire sheet. The product of Fun Thinkers Book learning media was A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm) which was made of hardcover, sticker paper, and art paper. The validation results obtained from media expert was 90%, media expert was 87.77%, the linguists was 83.33%, the practitioners was 86.66% and the mean percentage of validation scores from the four validators is 86.94%. Validation results from material expert, the media expert, the lingiust and practitioner showed that the Fun Thinkers Book learning media was very feasible to be use in the learning process. The results of the student's response questionnaire after using the Fun Thinkers Book learning media in the limited try-out obtained a percentage score of 88.70% and the field try-out obtained a percentage score of 95.01% so the mean percentage of the limited tyr-our and the field try-out was 91.85% with a very feasible category. Based on the results of validation by the material expert, the media expert, the linguist, the practitioners, and student's response questionnaire in limited try-out and field try-out, the Fun Thinkers Book learning media was declared feasible for use in the learning process.
