Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA ranah kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan populasi siswa kelas VII dan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji T dengan bantuan SPSS 22.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa ranah pengetahuan berdasarkan Tes Pilihan ganda (Pretest dan Posttest) nilai t hitung 3,290 > t table 1,669. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terdapat pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas VII SMPN 4 Tarakan.

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of using Problem Based Learning model of learning outcomes science IPA cognitive domain students. This research is a quasi-experimental research with population of student of class VII and sample of 2 class. Sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. Technique of data analysis using T test with help of SPSS 22.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that there is influence of the use of Problem Based Learning model of learning outcomes of science students knowledge based on multiple choice test (Pretest and Posttest) t value 3.290 > ttable 1.669. Thus it can be concluded that the influence of the use of Problem Based Learning model of learning there is influence on the results of science learning class VII SMPN 4 Tarakan.
