Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan penggunaan teori Van Hiele. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan pada semester genap TA 2020/2021 dengan subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 26 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus. Prosedur tiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pada siklus I tes hasil belajar 34,61% siswa yang tuntas dari keseluruhan siswa, pada aspek afektif diperoleh data sebesar 46,15% siswa yang tuntas dan pada aspek psikomotorik diperoleh data sebesar 30,77% siswa yang tuntas. Kemudian pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan, tes hasil belajar yang telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan dan diperoleh data sebesar 88,46% siswa yang tuntas, pada aspek afektif diperoleh data sebesar 88,46% siswa yang tuntas dan pada aspek psikomotorik diperoleh data sebesar 88,46% siswa yang tuntas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teori Van Hiele dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN 032 Tarakan. Teori Van Hiele dengan level tertentu yaitu level 0 sampai level 1 dijenjang sekolah dasar dan dengan fase-fase pembelajaran secara berurutan tanpa melewati suatu fase tertentu dari Van Hiele, maka siswa dapat dengan maksimal memahami materi yang diberikan. Sehingga hasil penilaian pada tes hasil belajar siswa telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan maka peneliti menghentikan siklus dalam penelitian ini.

The objective of this research was to improve student learning achievement by using Van Hiele's theory. The researcher employed Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2020/2021 with the research subject consists of 26 students. This research was held in 2 cycles. The procedures for each cycle were planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In the first cycle, there were 34.61% of students completed the test of learning outcomes (cognitive aspect), on the affective aspect was obtained by 46.15%, and on the psychomotor aspect obtained 30.77% of students who completed the subject. Then, in the second cycle, there was an increasing achievement by students. It indicated by reaching the indicator of success and obtained 88.46% of cognitive aspect, on the affective aspect obtained 88.46% and on the psychomotor aspect obtained 88.46 % of students who completed. The results showed that the use of Van Hide theory could improve the students' achievement of fourth-grade students at SDN 032 Tarakan. Van Hiele's theory with a certain level, namely level 0 to level I at the elementary school level and with successive learning phases without going through a particular phase of Van Hiele, students can maximally understand the material given. It can be revealed that the assessment on the student learning outcomes test has reached the indicators of success, so the researchers stopped the cycle in this study.
