Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penerapan gaya belajar dan mengetahui manfaat dari menerapkan gaya belajar dalam prestasi belajar siswa di SDN 011 Tarakan. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan di SDN 011 Tarakan pada tahun sekolah 2018/2019 dan 2019/2020. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada aplikasi gaya belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa. Data diambil dari sumber primer dan sekunder dan informan data termasuk kepala sekolah, pengawas, guru kelas, guru mata pelajaran, siswa dan orang tua siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa di SDN 011 Tarakan menerapkan setiap gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik dengan menunjukkan karakteristik tertentu dalam prestasi belajar. Penerapan gaya belajar ini memberikan manfaat tertentu dalam keterampilan belajar, kepercayaan diri, disiplin siswa, prestasi akademik dan prestasi non akademik pada siswa di SDN 011 Tarakan.

This study aimed at investigating the application of learning styles and finding out the benefits of applying learning styles in students’ learning achievement at SDN 011 Tarakan. This qualitative research was carried out at SDN 011 Tarakan in the 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 school years. It was focused on the students’ application of learning styles and learning achievement. The data were taken from primary and secondary sources and the data informants included the school principals, supervisors, class teachers, subject teachers, students and parents of students. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document study. The qualitative analysis was done through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students at SDN 011 Tarakan applied each visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning style by showing certain characteristics in learning achievement. The application of this learning style provided certain benefits in learning skills, self-confidence, student discipline, academic achievement and non-academic achievement in students at SDN 011 Tarakan.
