Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan media manipulatif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas II Al-Fajr di SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dengan desain atau tahapan mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri 26 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Tes Hasil Belajar (THB), lembar penilaian afektif dan psikomotorik, serta lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada hasil belajar siswa kelas II Al-Fajr di SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan melalui penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan media manipulatif. Pada siklus I diperoleh hasil belajar aspek kognitif sebesar 58%, pada aspek afektif sebesar 38%, dan pada aspek psikomotorik sebesar 81%. Sedangkan siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan perolehan hasil belajar aspek kognitif sebesar 85%, pada aspek afektif sebesar 84%, dan pada aspek psikomotorik sebesar 92%. Meningkatnya hasil belajar karena siswa mampu memahami unsur unsur bangun datar sederhana, adanya perubahan sikap dalam bekerja sama pada diskusi kelompok, percaya diri dalam menyampaikan jawaban, dan lebih meningkatkan keterampilan siswa terutama dalam mendemontrasikan media manipulatif. Secara keseluruhan hasil belajar siswa telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yaitu 80%, sehingga penelitian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil.

This research objective is to find out how the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is assisted by manipulative media in improving the learning outcomes of Al-Fajr class II students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan. This type of research uses classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles with designs or stages starting from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 26 students. Data collection using the Learning Outcomes Test (THB), affective and psychomotor assessment sheets, as well as observation sheets of teacher and student activities. The results of this study indicate that an increase in the learning outcomes of Al-Fajr class II students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan through the application of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) assisted by manipulative media. In the first cycle the cognitive aspects of learning outcomes obtained by 58%, the affective aspects of 38%, and the psychomotor aspects by 81%. While the second cycle has increased with the acquisition of cognitive aspects of learning outcomes by 85%, the affective aspects by 84%, and the psychomotor aspects by 92%. Increased learning outcomes because students are able to understand the elements of a simple flat figure, a change in attitude in working together in group discussions, confidence in delivering answers, and further enhance student skills, especially in demonstrating manipulative media. Overall student learning outcomes have reached an indicator of success that is 80%, so this research can be said to be successful. Keywords: RME Approach, Manipulative Media, Mathematics
