Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS materi Perkembangan Teknologi dengan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share pada siswa kelas IV SD Al-Hilal Tarakan.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di SD Al-Hilal Tarakan pada semester II tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Al-Hilal Tarakan yang berjumlah 12 siswa dengan siswa laki-laki berjumlah 7 siswa dan perempuan berjumlah 5 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Prosedur tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi kegiatan siswa, lembar observasi kegiatan guru, penilaian aspek kognitif (tes hasil belajar), aspek afektif (Teliti, bertanggung jawab dan kerja sama), dan aspek psikomotorik (presentasi kelompok).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS materi Perkembangan Teknologi siswa kelas IV SD Al-Hilal Tarakan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil yang diperoleh pada setiap siklus, pada siklus I ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif 33% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 92%. Pada siklus I ketuntasan hasilbelajar siswa aspek afektif 34% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 92%. Kemudian pada siklus I ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa aspek psikomotorik 50% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 100%. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa penelitian sudah berhasil dan sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan.

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of social studies material on Technology Development by applying the cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share to the fourth grade students of Al-Hilal Tarakan Elementary School. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted at AlHilal Tarakan Elementary School in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research subjects were the fourth grade students of Al-Hilal Tarakan Elementary School totaling 12 students with 7 male students and 5 female students. This research was conducted in 2 cycles each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The procedure for each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data obtained in this study included observation sheets of student activities, observation sheets of teacher activities, assessment of cognitive aspects (learning outcomes tests), affective aspects (thorough, responsible and collaborative), and psychomotor aspects (group presentations). The results showed that by using the cooperative learning model the type of Think Pair Share can improve the learning outcomes of social studies material in the Technology Development class IV of Al-Hilal Tarakan Elementary School. This can be seen from the results obtained in each cycle, in the first cycle the completeness of 33% cognitive aspects of student learning outcomes in the second cycle increased to 92%. In the first cycle the completeness of student learning outcomes affective aspects 34% in the second cycle increased to 92%. Then in the first cycle the completeness of the 50% psychomotor aspects of student learning outcomes in the second cycle increased to 100%.
