
Peran Komite Sekolah Dalam Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan Di SDN 012 Tarakan

Abstract
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kualitatif Deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di SDN 012 Tarakan pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Fokus penelitian adalah peran komite sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan serta faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat peranan komite sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SDN 012 Tarakan. Sumber data pada penelitian adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Informan pada penelitian adalah komite sekolah, kepala sekolah, guru, pengawas sekolah dan masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran komite sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SDN 012 Tarakan telah terlaksana pada peran pemberi pertimbangan yaitu RKAS, pelaksanaan program (kurikulum, PBM), SDM, sarana prasarana, dan anggaran sekolah. Namun, komite sekolah tidak ada pemberian pertimbangan pada penilaian program selanjutnya. Adapun faktor pendukung peranan komite sekolah yaitu komunikasi, rasa kepercayaan, dan bantuan dana. Sedangkan, faktor penghambat peranan komite sekolah yaitu memiliki pekerjaan lebih dari satu dan kurang optimalnya kepengurusan komite sekolah.

This type of research is descriptive qualitative research conducted at SDN 012 Tarakan in the 2018/2019 school year. The focus of the research is the role of the school committee in improving the quality of education and supporting factors and the inhibiting factors of the role of the school committee in improving the quality of education at SDN 012 Tarakan. The source of data in this research are primary data and secondary data. Informants in this research was the school committee, school principals, teachers, school supervisors and the public. Data collection technique were interview, observation and documentation. Techniques for analyzing qualitative data through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the school committee in improving the quality of education in SDN 012 Tarakan has been accomplished in consideration of the role of giver that RKAS, the implementation of the program (curriculum, PBM), human resources, facilities and infrastructure, and school budgets. However, the school committee is consideration on assessing the next program. The factors supporting the role of the school committee that is communication, trust, and financial assistance. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor of the role of the school committee is having more than one job and less than optimal management of the school committee.
