Masalah kedisiplinan siswa SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan yang sering melanggar disiplin atau peraturan sekolah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini, Untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Teknik Penguatan Positif Terhadap Disiplin Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-experimental design dalam bentuk one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan yang berjumlah 24 siswa yang diamil dari buku kasus siswa. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 6 siswa dikarenakan layanan yang digunakan berupa konseling kelompok yang mempunyai batas 4-8 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan data sampel adalah dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas skala kedisiplinan siswa dari 44 butir pernyataan terdapat 32 butir yang valid.
Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 22 for windows dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian treatment, diperoleh hasil perhitungan Wilcoxon hasil signifikan (0,028) dikelola menggunakan SPSS 22 for windows diperoleh Asymp. Sig sebesar 0,028 dan taraf signifikan 5% (0,05). Artinya Asymp. Sig < nilai α atau 0,028 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa alternative (Ha) “Ada Pengaruh Teknik Penguatan Positif Terhadap Disiplin Siswa SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016”, atau dengan kata lain bahwa treatment dengan penguatan positif berpengaruh terhadap disiplin siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.

Discipline problems SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan which often violate discipline or school rules. The purpose of this research , is Know Effect of Mechanical Reinforcement Positive Discipline to increasing the eighth grade students discipline in SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan in Academic Year 2015/2016. This study was conducted with pre-experimental design in one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this research was the eighth grade students in SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan. The sample was only 6 students because in this study only focus for the group Guidance Counseling service that consists of 4–8 students. It was taken by using the purposive sampling technique. Based on the validation test of student discipline scale there were only 32 items valid from 44 items. The data was analyzed by using the SPSS 22 for windows application with Wilcoxon test. The result of the eighth grade students discipline in SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan before and after the treatment, Wilcoxon showed that the result is significant (0,028) by using SPSS 22 for windows found that Asymp. Sig (0,028) meanwhile with the level of significant 5 % ( 0,05), its mean Asymp. Sig < nilai α or 0,028 < 0,05. It can be concluded that alternative (Ha) “ The reinforcement technique effect for increasing the eighth grade students discipline in SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan in Academic Year 2015/2016”, or in the other words that the treatment in the form of positive reinforcement effect on the student discipline for eight grade students in SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan in Academic Year 2015/2016.
