Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Keragaan jagung (Zea mays L.) hibrida single cros dan double cros. Penilitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktor tunggal terdiri dari lima Genotipe yaitu; P1 =Bisi 8, P2=Pertiwi 3, P3=NK 33, P4=P3 x P21, P5=NK x P21. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam dan jika berpengaruh nyata maka akan dilakukan uji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT) taraf 5 %.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan hibrida single cross dan double cross memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 2 minggu setelah tanam (MST), lebar daun dan diameter tongkol, tidak berpengaruh nyata pada variable pengamatan pada parameter tinggi tanaman 4 dan 6 minggu setelah tanam (MST) (cm), jumlah daun (helai), diameter batang (cm), panjang daun (cm), lebar daun (cm), letak duduk buah (cm), umur muncul rambut tongkol (hari), umur muncul malai (hari), panjang akar (cm), bobot akar (gr), bobot batang dan daun (gr), bobot per tongkol (gr), jumlah baris perbiji, bobot per biji (gr), bobot per tongkol (gr), bobot 100 biji dan potensi hasil.

This study aims to determine ; Performance of Corn (Zea mays L.) hybrid single cross and double cross. The studies carried out by using a randomized block design (RAK) single factor consists of five genotypes, namely; P1 = Bisi 8, P2 = Pertiwi 3, P3 = NK 33, P4 = P3 x P21, P5 = NK x P21. Date were analyzed using analysis of variance and if th`e real effect will be tested further by using the least significant difference test (LSD) level of 5%. The results showed treatment hybrid single cross and double cross giving real ekk to height plant 2 weeks after planting (WAP), Leaf width and diameter of the cob, no read effect on the variable observations on plant height parameter 4 and 6 weeks after planting (WAP) (cm), leafes (Sheet), layout sat fruit (cm), hair emerging age cob (day), age appears panicle (day), root length (cm), root weight (gr), weight of stems and leaves (gr), weight cob (gr), the number of rows seed, grain weight (gr), weight cob (gr) 100-seed weight and yield potential.
