Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi covid-19 di SMA Negeri 1 Nunukan, Kab. Nunukan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru mata pelajaran Biologi dan siswa kelas XII MIA. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi waktu. Analisis data diperoleh dari hasil pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan analisis interaktif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 1 Nunukan dimulai dari tahapan persiapan guru dalam menyusun RPP dan bahan ajar dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring melalui aplikasi WhatsApp, Telegram, dan Microsoft Teams. Kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran antara lain guru sulit untuk merancang metode dan media yang akan digunakan, siswa sulit memahami materi secara online dan jaringan internet tidak stabil. Sedangkan motivasi belajar siswa selama menjalankan pembelajaran daring mengalami penurunan sehingga penemuan ini menunjukan bahwa ada terjadinya learning loss dalam proses pembelajaran daring selama pandemi.

This study aimed to describe the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Nunukan, Nunukan Regency. This qualitative descriptive study employed a case study research approach. The subjects in this study were Biology subject teachers and students of class XII MIA. As methods for collecting data, observation, documentation, and interviewing were employed. Source and time triangulation were employed in the data validity testing method. Data analysis was obtained from the results of data collection using interactive analysis which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the online learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Nunukan started from the teacher preparation stage in preparing lesson plans and teaching materials and lesson plans. Online learning was implemented using WhatsApp, Telegram, and Microsoft teams applications. Among the challenges in putting learning into practice were teachers’ difficulty in designing the techniques and media to be used, students’ difficulty in comprehending the online content, and the unstable internet network. This result demonstrated that there was a learning loss in the online learning process during the epidemic because students’ learning motivation reduced while they were learning online.
