Abstract

Ubi Jalar (Ipomea Batatas L) Merupakan Komoditas Yang Memiliki Prospek Cerah Dalam Diversifikasi Tanaman Pangan Karena Memiliki Beberapa Keunggulan Dibandingkan Ubi Jalar Lainnya. Penelitian Ini Dilaksanakan Dilahan Penelitian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Borneo Tarakan Dari Bulan September – Januari 2019 Penelitian Ini Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Dengan 2 (Dua) Faktor Yaitu Dosis Pupuk NPK Dan Mulsa Jerami Padi, MPHP 3 Kali Ulangan Sehingga Didapatkan 27 Unit Percobaan 3 Taraf Perlakuan Yaitu P1 = Dosis Pupuk Npk 100 Kg/Ha =0,8 Gram/Pertanaman P2 = Dosis Pupuk Npk 200 Kg/Ha = 1,6 Gram/Pertanaman P3 = Dosis Pupuk NPK 300 Kg/Pertanaman = 2,4 Gram/Pertanaman Sedangkan Mulsa Jerami Dan MPHP Yaitu : M1 = Tanpa Menggunakan Mulsa M2 = Menggunakan Mulsa Organik/ Jerami Padi M3 = Menggunakan Mulsa Anorganik PlastiK Hitam Perak. Parameter Yang Diamati Yaitu Panjang Tanaman (Cm) Jumlah Cabang (Cm) Jumlah Daun (Helai), Jumlah Umbi,Diameter Umbi (Cm), Berat Umbi (G), Berat Basah Umbi (G). Data Yang Diperoleh Dianalisis Dengan Sidik Ragam Dan Jika Berpengaruh Nyata Dilakukan Uji Lanjut Dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) Pada Taraf 5%. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukan Bahwa Perlakuan Pemberian Dosis Pupuk NPK, Mulsa Jerami Padi Dan Mulsa Palstik Hitam Perak Memberikan Hasil Yang Tidak Berpengaruh Nyata Pada Jumlah Cabang Umur 7 Hst Perlakuan P2M2 (4,37) Parameter Pertumbuhan Panjang Tanaman Dan Jumlah Daun Menunjukan Hasil Yang Tidak Berbeda Nyata.

A Sweet Potato (Ipomea Batatas L) Is A Commodity That Has Bright Prospects In Diversifying Food Plant Because It Has Several Advantages Over Other Sweet Potatoes. This Research Was Conducted In The Field Of Borneo Tarakan University Facultay Of Agriculture Research From September To January 2019. This Study Used A Randomized Block Desaign (RBD) With 2 (Two) Factors Namely Dosage Of NPK Fertilizer And Mulch Of Straw Rice, MPHP 3 Times Of Replications So That 27 Experimental Units Were Obtained 3 Levels Of Treatment Are P1 = Dosage Of NPK Fertilizer 100% Kg/Ha = 0,8 Gram/ Planting P2 = Dosage Of NPK Fertilizer 200 Kg/Planting = 1,6 Gram/Planting P3 = Dosage Of NPK Fertilizer 300 Kg/Planting = 2,4 Gram/ Planting While Rice Straw Mulch And MPHP Are : M1 = Whitout Using Mulch M2 = Using Organic Mulch/ Rice Straw M3 = Using Black Silver Plastic Inorganic Mulch. The Parameters Observed Were Plant Length (Cm) Number Of Branches (Cm) Number Of Leaves (Strands), Number Of Corms, Diameter Of Corms(Mm), Weight Croms (G),Wet Weight Of Corms (G). The Data Obtained Were Analyzed By Variety Of Prints And If It Has Significant Effect Was Carried Out Further Test With The Smallest Real Difference Test At The Level Of 5%. The Results Of Research Showed That Giving Dosage Of NPK Fertilizer, Rice Straw Mulch And Silver Black Mulch Had No Significant Effect On Plant Length (Cm) Age Of 14 Hst, The Number Of Branches (Cm) Increased At Age Of 14 Hst, While The Number Of Much Leavel (Strands) At Age Of 21 Hst. The Dosage Of NPK Fertilizer,Rice Straw Mulch And Black Silver Plastic Mulch Give The Best Growth And Yield Of Sweet Potato Plants.
