Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas media Kartu Bergambar FamiliAsteraceae berdasarkan penilaian tim ahli dan mengetahui respon siswa. Jenispenelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research and development(R&D) yang mengacu pada model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development,Implementation, evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas VII menggunakanskala kecil berjumlah 7 orang siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan. Objek uji coba yangditeliti adalah kelayakan kualitas media Kartu Bergambar Famili Asteraceae. Hasilpenelitian Kartu Bergambar Famili Asteraceae pada materi klasifikasi mahklukhidup kelas VII SMP, memperoleh penilaian dari ahli materi sebesar 86% kategorisangat layak, ahli media 88% kategori sangat layak , ahli praktisi (Guru IPA)sebesar 82% kategori layak dan respon siswa sebesar 87% kategori sangat baik.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut media Kartu Bergambar sangat layakdigunakan sebagai media alternatif pembelajaran bagi siswa kelas VII.

This research aimed to examine the quality of Asteraceae Family Picture Card media based on team of experts’ assessment and examine students’ response. This research used research and devolepment (R&D) referring to the ADDIE(Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The research subjects were grade VII students with small scale of 7 students of State Junior High School 4 Tarakan. The experiment object was feasibility on Asteraceae Family Picture Card media’s quality. The results of research on Asteraceae Family Picture Card with living being classification materials for grade VII students of Junior High School by material experts were that 86% were very feasible, by media experts 88% feasible and students’ response 87% were very good. Based on the research result, the Picture Card media was very feasible for use as alternative learning media for grade VII students.
