Untuk dapat meningkatkan produksi padi, harus dilakukan optimalisasi penggunaan aktor produksi. Suatu penggunaan faktor produksi dikatakan efisien jika penggunaan faktor produksi yang dipakai menghasilkan produksi yang optimal. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini (1) Menganalisis pengaruh faktor produksi luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, pestisida, tenaga kerja terhadap produksi dalam usahatani padi sawah di Kelurahan Mamburungan Kecamatan Tarakan Timur (2) Menganalisis efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi dalam usahatani padi sawah di Kelurahan Mamburungan Kecamatan Tarakan Timur Kota Tarakan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisi regresi linier berganda dan uji efisiensi dengan pendekatan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh penggunaan faktor produksi dalam usahatani padi sawah di Kelurahan Mamburungan Kecamatan Tarakan Timur kota Tarakan berpengaruh secara (simultan F) berpengaruh terhadap produksi dengan nilai Fhitung sebesar 67,058.Berdasarkan hasil uji (parsial t) Penggunaan faktor produksi Bibit dan pestisida berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap produksi dengan nilai thitung faktor produksi bibit sebesar 6.987 dan thitung faktor produksi pestisida sebesar 4.666. Berdasarkan hasil uji efisensi faktor produksi melalui fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglass diketahui nilai efisiensi faktor produksi Luas lahan, bibit, pupuk, pestisida, dan tenaga kerja tidak efisien karena nilainya kurang dari 1 yang artinya perlu penggurangan faktor produksi dari masing- masing variabel.

In order to increase the production of rice, should be done to optimize the use of production factors. Said to be efficient if the use of factors of production used to produce optimum production. The objectives of this research are (1) To analyze the influence of production factors in land area, seeds, fertilizer, pesticide, and the labors that produced in lowland farm in Mamburungan. (2) To analyze the efficiency of using production factors lowland farm in Mamburungan. The method that used to analyze the data in this research was Multiple linear regression analysis and test the efficiency with using Cobb-Douglas production function approach. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the influence of the usage production factors in lowland farming in Mamburungan, East District of Tarakan, Tarakan is influenced significantly (Fsimultaneous) toward production with the value Fhitung 67.058. Based on the result of the test (t partial). The usage of production factors of seeds and pesticide significantly influenced toward production with value thitung the seeds’ production factors is 6.987and value for thitung for pesticide is 4.666. Based on the test results of efficiency factors of production through Cobb-Douglass production factors known to the elasticity of the area of land, seed, fertilizer, pesticides and labor efficient because its value is less than 1, which means need the presence of a factor of production of each variable.
