Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengendalian kualitas produk tempe dengan menggunakan metode seven tools di pabrik barokah kota tarakan. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. dalam penelitian ini sampel diperoleh sebanyak 100 bungkus tempe dengan menggunakan metode proporsional stratified random sampling. data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan seven tools yang meliputi check sheet, process diagram, histogram, paetro charts, control chart, scatter diagram dan cause and effect diagram. penelitian ini menemukan bahwa faktor yang paling berpengaruh besar terhadap produk cacat yang dihasilkan di pabrik barokah adalah faktor lingkungan, keadaan lingkungan menentukan jumlah produk cacat pada produksi produk tempe.

The study aimed to figure out the quality control of tempe products using the seven tools method at barokah factory, tarakan. this research used a descriptive- quantitative approach. the research samples were 100 packs of tempe selected using a proportional stratified random sampling method. the obtained data were then analyzed using seven tools consisting of check sheet, process diagram, histogram, paetro chart, control chart, scatter diagram and cause-and-effect diagrams. this research found that the most influential factor resulting in the defective products produced at barokah factory was environment. the environment conditons determine the number of defective products in the production of tempe products.
