Terjadinya struktur ekonomi yang bergeser diakibatkan timbulnya proses pertumbuhan ekonomi yang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kontribusi pdrb dan laju pertumbuhan. pendapatan perkapita daerah yang meningkat dipengaruhi oleh adanya pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. pertumbuhan ekonomi juga adalah tujuan dari kebijakan ekonomi makro agar maju dan sejahteranya perekonomian daerah. kondisi utama dari berlangsungnya pembangunan ekonomi dankesejahteraan yang meningkat karena tingginya ekonomi yang tumbuh dan adanya keberlanjutan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur ekonomi provinsi kalimantan utara selama tahun 2013-2020 . penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder produk domestik regional bruto provinsi kalimantan utara dan produk domestik regional bruto indonesia, dalam penelitian ini alat analisis yang digunakan yaitu location quotient (lq), shift share dan tipologi klassen. berdasarkan alat analisis lq sektor basis yang dilihat dari kontribusi nilai outputnya, perekonomian di kalimantan utara didominasi sektor pertambangan dan penggalian menduduki posisi tertinggi. hasil alat analisis shift share terhadap pdrb sektor dengan kontribusi besar yaitu sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan dan sektor pertambangan dan penggalian. hasil tipologi klassen, sektor-sektor ekonomi mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2020, jasa kesehatan menduduki kuadran ii dengan tingkat pertumbuhan dan pendapatan perkapita lebih tinggi, karena dipengaruhi oleh adanya wabah virus covid-19. sehingga membawa dampak yang sangat serius terhadap perekonomian.

The economic structure changes due to the economic growth processes influenced by grdp contribution level and growth rate. the continuously increasing regional per capita income is influenced by a long-term economic growth. economic growth is also one objective of macroeconomic policies to develop and prosper the regional economy. the main conditions for the continuously increasing economic development and welfare are due to the high economic growth and sustainability. this study aimed to analyze the economic structure of north kalimantan province in the period of 2013-2020. this study used the secondary data of gross regional domestic product of north kalimantan province and indonesia gross regional domestic product. the data were then analyzed using location ouotient (lo), shift share, and klassen typology. based on the results of lo analysis on basic sectors seen from the contribution of output values, the economy in north kalimantan was dominated by mining and excavation sectors (ranked the highest). based on the results of shift share analysis on grdp sectors, the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors as well as mining and excavation sectors had the largest contributions. based on the results of klassen typology analysis, the economic sectors decreased in 2020, health services occupied ouadrant i with a higher growth rate and per capita income. since affected by the outbreak of covid-19, the economy experienced a very serious impact.
