
Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran IPA Berbasis Mind Map Sebagai Bahan Ajar Mandiri Bagi Siswa SMP Kelas VIII

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa modul pembelajaran ipa berbasis mind map dan mengetahui kelayakan serta kualitasnya sebagai bahan ajar. produk pengembangan yang dihasilkan divalidasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan praktisi guru ipa sebelum diuji cobakan kepada responden kelompok kecil dan besar. penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian research and development dengan model pengembangan 4-d (define, design, development, dan disseminate) dilakukan dengan 2 tahap uji coba, yaitu uji coba skala kecil dan uji coba skala besar. pada uji coba skala kecil dilakukan kepada 6 orang siswa kelas ix-2 sedangkan uji coba skala besar dilakukan kepada 28 orang siswa kelas ix-1. hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa modul berbasis mind map yaitu ahli media sebesar 82,35% (sangat layak), ahli materi sebesar 93,68% (sangat layak), ahli praktisi sebesar 92% (sangat layak) sehingga memperoleh persentase rata-rata kelayakan 89% (sangat layak), respon siswa skala kecil 90% (sangat menarik), dan respon siswa sebesar 89,16% (sangat menarik). berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran ipa berbasis mind map telah memenuhi syarat kelayakan bahan ajar. disarankan pada penelitian selanjutnya untuk dapat menguji pengaruh dan efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran.

The purpose of this research is to develop module based on mind map, knowing their feasibility and quality as learning materials. the developed product has validated by media experts, material experts, and science teacher before being tested on small and large group of student as respondents. the research type was research and development using 4-d (define, design, development, and disseminate) proposed by thiagarajan. this research was conducted merely on the third step (3d). carried out with 2 phases of testing, namely small-scale trials and large-scale trials. in a small scale trial carried out on 6 students of class ix-2 while a large-scale trial was conducted on 28 students of class ix-1. the results showed that-based module were mind map media experts at 82.35% (very feasible), material experts at 93.68% (very feasible), teacher at 92% (very feasible) so that they obtained the average percentage of eligibility 89% (very decent), small-scale student responses 90% (very interesting), and student responses at 89.16% (very interesting). based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that based science learning modules mind map have met the eligibility requirements of learning materials. it is recommended that further research be able to examine the effect and effectiveness of the use of teaching materials in the learning process.
