Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelimpahan dan dominansi ikan di sungai sembakung kecamatan lumbis dan untuk mengetahui potensi implementasinya pada pembelajaran biologi kelas x sma berdasarkan hasil penelitian. jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. sampel dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh spesies dari ikan yang terdapat di sungai sembakung kecamatan lumbis. analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah indeks kelimpahan relatif, indeks dominansi, dan identifikasi hasil penelitian sebagai potensi implementasinya pada pembelajaran biologi. indeks kelimpahan relatif yang didapatkan pada saat penelitian di sungai sembakung kecamatan lumbis yang kelimpahannya dikategorikan tinggi adalah jenis barbonymus balleroides dengan nilai 57,69%, kemudian 13 jenis lainnya dikategorikan rendah karena memiliki nilai kelimpahan relatif
Abstrak Indonesia
This study aimed to analyze the abundance and dominance of fish in the sembakung river in the lumbis district and to determine potential implementation of the study results in the biology learning for tenth grade students. this was an exploratory descriptive researczh with quantitative and qualitative approaches. samples of this study were all species of fish found in the sembakung river. data were analyzed using the index of relative abundance, dominance index, and through identification of research results as a potential implementation in learning biology. the research results showed that a high category of the relative abundance index was obtained in barbonymus balleroides with a value of 57.69%, and 13 other types were categorized as low because their relative abundance values were less than 15%. the results of the fish dominance index in the sembakung river were on average of 0.00. this indicated that there were no species dominating. the relationship between the fish abundance and dominance and biology learning were found in the vertebrate animalia lesson of the tenth grade at the basic competence (kd) 3.8. utilization of research results into potential implementation in learning biology could be in the forms of: (1) clarity of potential; (2) conformity with learning objectives; (3) clarity of objectives; (4) clarity of information; (5) exploration guidelines; and (6) clarity of acquisition to be achieved.
