
Improving Students’achievement On Speaking Skil Through Role Play Technique In The Eleventh Class Students Of SMA Mulawarman Tarakan Academic Year 2012/2013

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pencapaian siswa dalam kemampuan berbicara melalui teknik bermain peran pada siswa xi-b di sma mulawarman tarakan. penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes performa dan lembar pengamatan (lembar pengamatan guru dan lembar pengamatan siswa). hasil belajar siswa pada siklus ii adalah 72% dari 36 siswa dan hanya 28% yang gagal. kesimpulan penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan teknik bermain peran pada pengajaran materi ekspresi cinta dan kesedihan teks pada siswa kelas (xi-b) di sma mulawarman tarakan dapat meningkatkan pencapaian dalam kemampuan berbicara siswa.

The objective of the research was to improve the students’ achievement in speaking skill through role play technique in the eleventh grade students of sma mulawarma tarakan . this car (class action of research) was conducted in two cycle. each cycle consist of four stages; those were planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. the instruments used by the researcher were performance test and observation sheet (teacher’s observation sheet and students’ observation sheet).the result of students’ success in cycle ii was 72% of 36 students and only 28% were failed. the conclusion in this car (class action research) which using role play technique in teaching expressing ove and sadness at eleventh (xi-b) grade students in sma mulawarman tarakan could improve the students’ achievement in speaking skill
