Abstrak Indonesia

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran assurance, relevance, interest, assessment and satisfaction (arias). penilitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan april 2015 di smp negeri 9 tarakan. penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) dengan menggunakan desain pretest-posttest non equivalent control group. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas vii dan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas vii-6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas vii-4 sebagai kelas kontrol. teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. analisis data menggunakan bantuan software spss 16.0 for windows dengan teknik analisis menggunakan uji independent sample test. berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas vii smp negeri 9 tarakan antara yang diberi model pembelajaran assurance, relevance, interest, assessment and satisfaction dan metode ceramah bervariasi, karena diperoleh nilai thitung 4.661 lebih besar dari ttabel 1,668. hal ini membuktikan ho ditolak dan ha diterima.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect the implementation of learning model of assurance, relevance, interest, assessment and satisfaction. this research was conducted during on april 2015 in smp negeri 9 tarakan. this is quasi-experimental study (quasi experiment) with pretest-posttest design using non-equivalent control group. population in this study were students of class vii and a sample of 2 classes of class vii-6 as an experimental class and vii-4 as the control class. the sampling technique used purposive sampling. data analysis using spss 16.0 for windows software wuth the help of analytical techniques using the independent sample test. based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes of students of class vii smp negeri 9 tarakan between the given model of assurance, relevance, interest, assessment and satisfaction learning and lecture methods vary, as obtained tvalue is 4.661 bigger than ttable 1,668. this proves rejected ho and ha accepted.
