Komoditi ubi jalar merupakan salah satu tanaman pangan yang penting dan mengambil peran dalam pembangunan sektor pertanian, metode pemeliharaan ubi jalar dimulai dari pemilihan bibit unggul, pemberian pupuk, dan perawatan yang sesuai. pemberian pupuk organik dapat memperbaiki sifat fisik tanah, pupuk organik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mengandung unsur hara yang lengkap, baik unsur hara makro seperti n (1,91 %), p (1,94 %), dan k (2,36 %), maupun unsur hara mikro ca, mg, mn, fe, cu, dan zn. selain dari pemberian pupuk, salah satu usaha untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi ubi jalar yaitu dengan mengatur tinggi bedengan yang tepat. penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil ubi jalar dengan cara memodifikasi dosis pupuk organik dan tinggi bedengan. penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan fakultas pertanian universitas borneo tarakan. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu faktor pertama dosis pupuk organik dengan 4 taraf (0, 5, 10, dan 15 ton/ha) dan faktor kedua yaitu tinggi bedengan dengan 3 taraf (20, 30, dan 40 cm) diulang sebanyak 3 kali. data yang diperoleh dianilisis dengan menggunakan sidik ragam dan diuji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji bnt taraf 5%. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk organik berpengaruh nyata dan dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil ubi jalar terhadap parameter jumlah daun, berat segar umbi, dan diameter umbi dengan dosis perlakuan terbaik adalah p3 (2100 g/ bedeng), serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter panjang umbi. perlakuan tinggi bedengan hanya berpengaruh nyata dan dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil terhadap parameter berat segar umbi dengan tinggi bedengan perlakuan terbaik t2 (30cm). serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter jumlah daun, panjang umbi, dan diameter umbi. dan pengaruh interaksi dosis pupuk organik dan tinggi bedengan hanya berpengaruh nyata dan dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil terhadap parameter berat segar umbi dengan interaksi perlakuan terbaik p3t2 (2100 g/ bedeng + 30 cm). serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter jumlah daun, panjang umbi, dan diameter umbi. kata kunci: dosis pupuk organik, tinggi bedengan, ubi jalar, pertumbuhan, dan hasil

The sweet potato commodity is one of the important food crops and plays a role in the development of the agricultural sector. the method of cultivating sweet potatoes starts from selecting superior seeds, applying fertilizers, and treating them accordingly. the application of organic fertilizers can improve the physical properties of the soil, the organic fertilizers used in this study contain complete nutrients, both macro nutrients such as n (1.91%), p (1.94%), and k (2.36%). ), as well as micro nutrients ca, mg, mn, fe, cu, and zn. apart from applying fertilizers, one of the efforts to increase the growth and production of sweet potatoes is by adjusting the correct height of the beds. this research was conducted to increase the growth and yield of sweet potatoes by modifying the dosage of organic fertilizers and height of the beds. this research was conducted in the experimental field of the faculty of agriculture, university of borneo tarakan. this research is a factorial study with 2 factors, namely the first factor is the dose of organic fertilizer with 4 levels (0, 5, 10, and 15 tons / ha) and the second factor is the height of the beds with 3 levels (20, 30, and 40 cm) repeated as many as 3 times. the data obtained were analyzed using variance and further tested using the lsd level of 5%. the results showed that the dosage treatment of organic fertilizers had a significant effect and could increase the growth and yield of sweet potato on the parameters of the number of leaves, fresh weight of tubers, and tuber diameter with the best treatment dose was p3 (2100 g / bed), and had no significant effect on length parameters tubers. treatment of bed height only had a significant effect and could increase the growth and yield of tuber fresh weight parameters with the best treatment bed height t2 (30cm). and there is no significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves, tuber length, and tuber diameter. and the interaction effect of organic fertilizer dosage and bed height only had a significant effect and could increase growth and yield on tuber fresh weight parameters with the best treatment interaction p3t2 (2100 g / bed + 30 cm). and there is no significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves, tuber length, and tuber diameter. keywords: dose of organic fertilizer, height of beds, sweet potatoes, growth, and yield
