Penelitian ini merupakan hasil penelitian deskriptif tentang analisis kesalahan penyajian konsep dan prinsip serta ilustrasi materi dalam buku teks ipa kurikulum 2013 smp kelas vii semester i. permasalahan yang diteliti adalah bagaimana kesesuaian isi buku teks ipa materi biologi kelas vii dengan kompetensi inti (ki) dan kompetensi dasar (kd) serta apakah ada kesalahan pada penyajian konsep, prinsip, dan ilustrasi materi biologi dalam buku teks ipa smp kelas vii semester i. penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesesuaian isi buku teks ipa materi biologi smp kelas vii semester ii dengan kompetensi inti (ki) dan kompetensi dasar (kd) serta menemukan kesalahan penyajian konsep, prinsip, dan ilustrasi materi dalam buku teks ipa smp kelas vii semester 1. berdasarkan dari hasil analisis pada bab iv, analisis kesalahan penyajian konsep dan prinsip serta ilustrasi materi biologi dalam buku teks ipa kurikulum 2013 smp kelas vii semester i, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: pertama, buku teks yang dianalisis kesesuaian isi dengan kompetensi inti dan kompetensi dasar, buku teks ipa terpadu tebitan eg memperoleh nilai dengan kriteria baik yaitu: 73% pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup, 80% pada meteri klasifikasi makhluk hidup dan 80% pada materi organisasi kehidupan. sedangkan buku teks ilmu pengetahuan alam (bse) terbitan kemendikbud memperoleh nilai 93% pada materi klasifikasi benda, 93% pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup, dan 93% pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan. kedua, untuk buku teks ipa terpadu terbitan eg terdapat kesalahan penyajian konsep berjumlah 5, tidak terdapat kesalahan dalam penyajian prinsip dan ilustrasi materi. sedangakan untuk buku teks ilmu pengetahuan alam (bse) terbitan kemendikbud terdapat kesalahan penyajian konsep berjumlah 8 dan kesalahan ilustrasi materi berjumlah 8, sementara tidak ditemukan kesalahan dalam penyajian prinsip. dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua buku tersebut masih perlu perbaikan dalam penyajian materi agar tidak menimbulkan miskonsepsi pada saat penyampaian materi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran disekolah.

This research is a descriptive analysis to misstatement of concepts, principles, and material illustrations in the curriculum 2013 science textbook for the first semester of seventh graders. the problems studied are how the suitability of the content of the curriculum 2013 textbook science on biological subjects for the seven graders with main competencies (ki) and based competence (kd), and whether there are misstatement of biological subjects that include the concepts and principles and material illustrations in the curriculum 2013 science textbook for the seventh graders. this research aimed to compare the suitability of the content of the curriculum 2013 science textbook for the first semester of seventh graders with main comptenceis (ki) and based competence (kd) and to find mistakes in the presentation of biological materials that include concepts and principles and material illustrations in the science textbook for seventh graders on the first semester. the result show that in the chapter iv, the analysis to misstatement of concepts, principles and material illustrations in the curriculum 2013 science textbook for the first semester of seventh graders, can be concluded that: first, the analysis content of textbook with main competencies (ki) and based competence (kd), textbook ipa terpadu published by eg get scores wih good criteria, that’s: 73% on material the characteristic features of living things, 80% on material classification of living things, and 80% on material organization of live. while, the textbook ilmu pengetahuan alam (bse) published by kemendikbud get score 93% on material classifications of subjects, 93% on material classifications of living things, and 93% on material organization of life. second, in the textbook ipa terpadu published by eg there misstatement of concepts amount 5, there is no misstatement of principles and material illustrations. while, the textbook ilmu pengetahuan alam (bse) published by kemendikbud there misstatement of concepts amount 8 and misstatement of material illustrations amount 8. there is no misstatement of principles. from the results, it can be concluded that both the books should be improved in presentation of the materials, so thereis not missconceptions in learning activities at school.
