Abstrak Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur hubungan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas x lintas minat pada mata pelajaran biologi terhadap hasil belajar siswa di madrasah aliyah negeri (man) tarakan. jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei dengan metode deskriptif korelasional data kuantitatif. populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 184 siswa kelas x lintas minat madrasah aliyah negeri (man) tarakan dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 70 siswa dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling jenis purposive sampling. keseluruhan data diperoleh berdasarkan skor dari angket minat dan motivasi dan soal pilihan ganda, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji product moment dan uji regresi linear untuk mencari hubungan minat (x1) dan motivasi belajar (x2) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (y). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara minat dan motivasi asecara simultan terhadap hasil belajar biologi dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,035. terdapat hubungan yang positif antara motivasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai signifikan 0,018 dan tidak terdapat hubungan minat terhadap hasil belajar biologi dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,407.

This research was intended to measure the relationship between students’ interest and learning motivation in biology subject to students’ learning outcomes at class x cross-interest students of madrasah aliyah negeri (man) tarakan. the design of the research was a survey with descriptive correlational quantitative data. the population in this research was 184 students of class x cross-interest students of madrasah aliyah negeri (man) tarakan and the research sample was 70 students. the sample was determined using nonprobability sampling technique from purposive sampling. overall data was obtained based on scores from students’ interest and learning motivation questionnaires and multiple choice questions, then analyzed by pearson product moment correlation test and linear regression test to find the relationship between students’ interest and learning motivation to students’ learning outcomes. the results showed that there was a positive relationship between students’ interest and learning motivation simultaneously in biology learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.035. there was a positive relationship between students’ motivation and students’ learning outcomes with a significant value of 0.018 and there was no relationship between students’ interest in biology learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.407.
