
Teaching Model Used For Autism To The Fourth Grade Students Of SDLBN Kasih Bahagia Tarakan

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengajar siswa autis kelas empat di sdlbn kasih bahagia tarakan. penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. penelitian ini menggunakan alur model dari miles and huberman dalam menganalisis data. terdapat tiga langkah dalam menganalisis data menurut miles dan huberman yaitu (1) data reduction (2) data display (3) conclusion drawing. selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan triangulasi dalam menganilisis kesesuaian antara model yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar dengan kebutuhan siswa autis. hasil penelitian ini adalah guru menggunakan model make a match dan menggunakan flashcard sebagai media pembelajaran. guru menggunakan model pembelajaran tersebut karena siswa autis lebih tertarik untuk melihat gambar daripada kalimat. selain itu, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahawa terdapat kesesuaian antara model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru dengan kebutuhan siswa autis.

The objective of this research was to find and describe what kind of teaching model used by teacher in teaching english for autism students to the fourth grade students of sdlbn kasih bahagia tarakan and to analyzed the appropriateness between teaching model used by teacher and students’ need through lesson plan. the research design was descriptive qualitative research. this research used a flow model analysis from miles and huberman in analyzing the data. there were three steps in analyzing the data by miles and huberman, (1) data reduction (2) data display (3) conclusion drawing. additionaly, this research also used triangulation model in analyzing the appropriateness between teaching model used by teacher and students need. the result of this research was the teaching model used by teacher in teaching english for autism for the fourth grade students of sdlbn kasih bahagia tarakan. they were taught using make a match model and a flashcard as a media. the reason why the teacher used the model was because the autism students were more interested to a picture rather than a sentence. there was also the appropriateness between teaching model used by teacher and students need.
