Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan topik-topik dan penilaian rekomendasi yang harus dimasukkan dalam pengajuan poster bahasa inggris kalimat pasif sebagai media pembelajaran siswa kelas xi di smk negeri 1 tarakan. desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. tahapan dalam penelitian ini telah dimodifikasi berdasarkan kebutuhan peneliti yang mencakup analisis, desain, pengembangan, evaluasi, dan implementasi. untuk memperoleh data dalam merancang produk ini, 272 siswa kelas xi smk negeri 1 tarakan diminta untuk menjawab sepuluh pertanyaan yang terdapat dalam kuesioner. guru bahasa inggris juga diwawancarai untuk mendapatkan informasi tambahan dalam mengembangkan produk ini. hasil rata-rata dari validator untuk poster bahasa inggris ini berada dalam kategori baik. ini mengindikasikan poster bahasa inggris yang telah dikembangkan sudah cukup baik sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan pilihan siswa. meskipun demikian, ada beberapa materi dan desain yang perlu direvisi. hal ini dilakukan untuk memperbaiki materi dan desain poster bahasa inggris agar semakin baik. hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah media pembelajaran poster bahasa inggris berisikan materi tentang kalimat pasif. poster bahasa ingrris ini didesain khusus untuk siswa kelas xi smk negeri 1 tarakan dengan cakupan isi: 1) judul poster, 2) pengertian kalimat pasif, 3) rumus dari simple present tense dan simple past tense dalam bentuk aktif dan pasif, 4) penjelasan simple present tense dan simple past tense dalam bentuk aktif dan pasif yang disertai gambar pendukung, 5) contoh simple present tense dan simple past tense dalam bentuk aktif dan pasif, dan 6) penilaian yang direkomendasikan. produk yang telah dikembangkan ini diharapkan dapat membantu siswa kelas xi smk negeri 1 tarakan dalam memahami materi tentang kalimat pasif.

The objectives of the research were to find out the topics and recommended assessment that should be included in the proposed english poster of passive voice as learning media for eleventh grade students at smk negeri 1 tarakan. the research design in this research was research and development (r&d). the research procedures of this research were modified based on the researchers’ needs covering analyze, design, development, evaluation, and implementation. to gain the data in designing the product, 272 students of eleventh grade at smk negeri 1 tarakan were asked to answer ten questions in questionnaire. the english teacher was also interviewed to get additional information in developing the product. the average result from the experts for the english poster was in a “good” category, it indicates the english poster that developed was appropriate for students’ needs and preferences. nevertheless, there were some content and layout that needed to be revised. it was done to improve the content and layout of english poster better. the result of this research was a learning media of english poster contained passive voice material for the eleventh grade students at smk negeri 1 tarakan. the product of english poster contained: 1) the title, 2) the definition of passive voice, 3) formulas of simple present tense and simple past tense in active and passive form, 4) the explanation of simple present tense and simple past tense in active and passive form along with supporting pictures, 5) the example of simple present tense and simple past tense in active and passive form, and 6) recommended assessment. the product was expected to assist the eleventh grade students at smk negeri 1 tarakan in understanding the material about passive voice.
