ASUHAN KEBIDANAN PADA BALITA GIZI KURANG DENGAN PEMBERIAN COOKIES UBI UNGU DAN KACANG HIJAU DI PUSKESMAS MALINAU KOTA

Latar belakang: gizi kurang pada balita masih menjadi masalah kesehatan di wilayah kerja puskesmas malinau kota. salah satu upaya penanganan adalah pemanfaatan pangan lokal berbentuk cookies berbahan dasar ubi jalar ungu dan kacang hijau. tujuan: mengetahui pengaruh pemberian cookies ubi ungu–kacang hijau terhadap peningkatan status gizi balita gizi kurang melalui pendekatan asuhan kebidanan komunitas .metode: studi kasus kuantitatif–kualitatif pada satu balita laki-laki usia 1 tahun 7 bulan dengan status tergolong gizi kurang berdasarkan bb/u dan wasting ringan menurut bb/tb). intervensi berupa pemberian 12 keping cookies/hari (pagi, siang, sore) selama 30 hari (07 mei–05 juni 2025) disertai edukasi gizi pada ibu. instrumen: lembar observasi status gizi, sop pemberian cookies, formulir recall 24 jam, dan kuesioner kepatuhan. pengukuran berat dan tinggi badan dilakukan hari 0, 15,dan 30. hasil: berat badan meningkat bertahap dari 7,4 kg menjadi 7,5 kg dan tinggi badan menjadi 72,2 cm. pada hari ke-30, berat badan naik menjadi 7,8 kg dan tinggi badan 72,3 cm. kenaikan total 0,4 kg menunjukkan respons positif berkelanjutan. anak lebih aktif, nafsu makan membaik, dan mampu menghabiskan 8 keping cookies per hari. ibu mulai menerapkan pola makan seimbang dan teknik penanganan picky eater. temuan selaras dengan penelitian wulandari & handayani (2024) serta arnisam et al. (2013) yang membuktikan kandungan karbohidrat kompleks, protein nabati, dan antosianin dalam ubi ungu dan kacang hijau efektif memperbaiki status gizi.simpulan: pemberian cookies ubi jalar ungu–kacang hijau selama 30 hari, dipadu edukasi gizi, efektif meningkatkan berat badan balita gizi kurang dan dapat dijadikan intervensi pmt berbasis pangan lokal dalam asuhan kebidanan komunitas. kata kunci: balita, gizi kurang, cookies ubi ungu, kacang hijau, pangan lokal, asuhan kebidanan.

Background: malnutrition in toddlers is still a health problem at the malinau city health center working area. one of the handling efforts is the utilization of local food in the form of cookies made from purple sweet potato and mung beans. objective: to determine the effect of giving purple sweet potato-green bean cookies on improving the nutritional status of undernourished toddlers through a community midwifery care approach. methods: quantitative-qualitative case study on one male toddler aged 1 year 7 months with a status classified as undernourished based on weight-for-age (wfa) and mild wasting weight-for-height (wfh). the intervention was to provide 12 pieces of cookies/day (morning, afternoon, evening) for 30 days (may 07-june 05, 2025) accompanied by nutrition education for the mother. instruments: nutritional status observation sheet, sop for cookie feeding, 24-hour recall form, and compliance questionnaire. weight and height measurements were taken on days 0, 15, and 30. results: weight increased gradually from 7.4 kg 7.5 kg (day 15)→7.8 kg (day 30); height from 72.0 cm →72.2 cm 72.3 cm. a total gain of 0.4 kg indicated a sustained positive response. the child was more active, appetite improved, and was able to consume 8 pieces of cookies per day. the mother began to apply a balanced diet and picky eater handling techniques. the findings are in line with research by wulandari & handayani (2024) and arnisam et al. (2013) which proved that the content of complex carbohydrates, vegetable protein, and anthocyanins in purple sweet potatoes and mung beans is effective in improving nutritional status. conclusion: giving purple sweet potato-green bean cookies for 30 days, combined with nutrition education, effectively increases the weight of malnourished toddlers and can be used as a local food-based supplementary feeding intervention in community midwifery care. keywords: toddlers, malnutrition, purple sweet potato cookies, mung beans, local food.
