Penelitian yang berjudul analisis kualitas air dan tanah pada budidaya udang windu (penaeus monodon) di tambak tradisional dilakukan di kota tarakan pada tanggal 8 agustus 2024 sampai dengan 8 oktober 2024 dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas air dan tanah pada tambak udang tradisional dan membandingkannya dengan standar ideal yang ditetapkan dalam permen kkp no. 75 tahun 2016. berdasarkan hasil pengukuran kualitas air secara in-situ, ditemukan bahwa nilai parameter seperti ph dan alkalinitas belum mencapai nilai optimal sesuai standar, sedangkan hasil pengukuran kualitas air secara ex-situ ditemukan bahwa nilai amoniak, nitrat, nitrit, dan fosfat belum mencapai nilai optimal untuk kegiatan budidaya udang secara tradisional. parameter kualitas air berdasarkan hasil pengukuran kualitas air diperoleh nilai suhu 30-35 ◦c, salinitas 9-16 ppt, ph 5-8, alkalinitas 40,35-71,6 mg/l, amoniak 0,06 mg/l, nitrat 0,8 mg/l, nitrit 1,06 mg/l, nitrit 0,8 mg/l dan fosfat 0,5 mg/l. tambak tradisional ini tidak ideal untuk kegiatan budidaya udang windu seperti ph tanah, bahan organik, potensial redoks, suhu, ph air, alkalinitas, nitrat, nitrit, fosfat, dan nilai amoniak yang belum sesuai dengan permen kkp no. 75 tahun 2016. kata kunci: udang windu, tambak tradisional, kualitas air, kualitas tanah

The research entitled analysis of water and soil quality in tiger shrimp (pernacus monodon) farming in traditional ponds was conducted in tarakan city on 8 august 2024 to 8 october 2024 with the aim of analysing the quality of water and soil in traditional shrimp ponds and comparing it with the ideal standards set in ministerial regulation of the ministry of marine affairs and fisheries (kkp) number 75 of 2016. based on the results of in-situ water quality measurements, it was found that the value of parameters such as ph and alkalinity had not reached the optimal value as set by the standard, while the results of ex-situ water quality measurements revealed that the value of ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate had not reached the optimal value for traditional shrimp farming activities. water quality parameters based on the results of water quality measurements, obtained temperature 30-35-c salinity 9-16 ppt, ph 5-8, alkalinity 40.35-71.6 mg/l., ammonia 0.06 mg/l, nitrate 0.8 mg/1, nitrite 1.06 mg/l., nitrite 0.8 mg/l. and phosphate 0.5 mg/l. these traditional ponds were not ideal for tiger shrimp farming activities as soil ph, organic matter, redox potential, temperature, water ph, alkalmity, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, and ammonia values did not comply with ministerial regulation of the ministry of marine affairs and fisheries (kkp) number 75 of 2016. keywords tiger shrimp, traditional ponds, water quality, soil quality
