KEANEKARAGAMAN IKAN PERAIRAN LAUT PULAU BUNYU KALIMANTAN UTARA

Abstrak Indonesia

Perairan pulau bunyu dipengaruhi oleh sirkulasi massa air estuari dan laut sulawesi yang menjadikannya sebagai potensi sumber daya perikanan yang sangat besar. penelitian mengenai keanekaragaman ikan di kawasan pulau bunyu telah banyak dilakukan, oleh karena itu perlu ada penelitian lanjutan untuk melengkapi data dan informasi ilmiah tentang keanekaragaman. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis ikan, kelimpahan jenis (kj), keanekaragaman (h’), keseragaman (e), dan dominansi (d) spesies yang terdapat di perairan laut pulau bunyu. penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan november 2024 sampai dengan maret 2025. metode perolehan sampel dilakukan secara eksploratif dan tidak bersifat time series. beberapa alat tangkap yang digunakan seperti pukat gondrong, bubu dasar, dan rengge pada 8 stasiun penangkapan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelimpahan jenis yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 1.786 individu yang diklasifikasikan menjadi 74 famili 80 genus dengan 115 spesies. hasil kelimpahan ikan yang telah dilakukan didapatkan komposisi tertinggi terdapat pada spesies ikan puput (ilisha elongata) dengan nilai kelimpahan 29% dan komposi terendah terdapat pada jenis ikan bulu ayam (coilia neglecta) senilai 13%. nilai indeks keanekaragaman (h’) keseluruhan lokasi pengamatan berada pada retang 1,76–2,89, nilai keseragaman (e) berada pada rentang 0,23-0,57, dan dominansi (d) 0,11-0,50. nilai indeks keanekaragaman keseluruhan lokasi pengamatan menunjukkan tingkat keanekaragaman spesies berada pada kondisi sedang dengan nilai keseragaman menunjukkan sebagian besar lokasi pengamatan berada pada kondisi yang tertekan, dan dominansi yang sebagian besar lokasi pengamatan berada pada lokasi pengamatan pada kondisi yang rendah. kata kunci : dominansi, ilisha elongata, keanekaragaman, keseragaman, pukat gondrong.

Bunyu island is a very significant prospective fishery resource because its waters are influenced by the circulation of estuary and sulawesi sea water masses although a lot of research has been done on fish diversity in the bunyu island area, more research is required to complete scientific data and knowledge on diversity. the purpose of this study was to identify fish species; species abundance (kj), species diversity (h'), species homogeneity (e), and species dominance (d) in the sea waters of bunyu island. the study was conducted from november 2024 to march 2025. the sample acquisition method was carried out exploratively and was not time series. several fishing gears used such as long-netted trawls, bottom traps, and gillnets at 8 fishing stations. the process of identifying fish species was carried out through morphological identification which was carried out by observing the structure of the fish's body from the external shape of the fish, colouring patterns, mouth shape, tail shape and characteristics seen in the fish. the results of the study showed that the abundance of species obtained in this study was 1,786 individuals classified into 74 families, 80 genera with 115 species. the results of the fish abundance that had been carried out obtained the highest composition in the longfin herring fish species (ilisha elongata) with an abundance value of 29% and the lowest composition in the thryssa mystax fish species (coilia neglecta) worth 13%. the overall diversity index value (h') of the observation location was in the range of 1.76-2.89, the uniformity value (e) was in the range of 0.23-0.57, and dominance (d) 0.11-0.50. the overall diversity index value of the observation location showed that the level of species diversity was in moderate conditions with uniformity values indicating that most of the observation locations were in stressed conditions, and dominance that most of the observation locations were in low conditions. keywords: dominance, ilisha elongata, diversity, uniformity, long-tailed trawl
