
Pengembangan Permainan Picoca Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Materi Organisasi Kehidupan Untuk Kelas VIII MTs Negeri Tarakan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap permainan picoca. penelitian ini menggunakan model borg & gall sampai pada tahap ketujuh. langkah-langkah pengembangan adalah 1) penelitian pengumpulan informasi awal; 2) perencanaan; 3) pengembangan produk awal; 4) uji coba lapangan utama; 5) revisi produk utama; 6) uji coba lapangan; 7) revisi produk opresional. permainan picoca divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media ddan ahli praktisi. uji coba produk dilakukan sebanyak dua kali yaitu uji coba lapangan awal yang melibatkan 10 siswa di kelas viii-b dan uji coba lapangan utama yang melibat 31 siswa di kelas vii-d. hasil validasi materi sebesar 76,66% (layak), ahli media sebesar 89,28% (sangat layak), dan ahli praktisi sebesar 83,92% (sangat layak). hasil angker respon siswa pada uji coba lapangan awal sebesar 87,5% (sangat setuju). uji coba lapangan utama sebesar 89,51% (sangat setuju). sehingga dapat disimpulkan permainan picoca tervalidasi layak.

The purpose of the research to measure the properness and students’ respon on developing game picoca. the study was based on borg & gall model until the seventh step. the development steps were as follow 1) research and information and collection; 2) planning; 3) development premilimnary form of product; 4) preminilary field testing; 5) main product revision; 6) main field testing; 7) operational product revision. the game picoca was validated by material expert, media expert, and practioptioner expert. the field test was conducted twice, namely intial trial with 10 students at class viii-b and principal trial with 31 students at class vii-d. the validations results from material expert was 76,66% (very appropriate), 89,28% (very appropriate) from layout and design expert,, and from practitioner expert was 83,92% (very appropriate). the result of evaluation questioner for students in initial trial was 87,5% (very agree), the result of evaluation quesioner for students in msin field try out was 89,51% (very agree). the conclusionof this research game picoca has develop is validated as viable.
