Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran pop up book pada topik sistem peredaran darah manusia untuk siswa kelas viii di smp negeri 8 tarakan. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (r&d) dengan model borg & gall, yang dibatasi hingga tahap kelima, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, uji coba awal, dan revisi produk. hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan yang sangat baik, dengan skor dari ahli materi sebesar 91%, ahli media 89%, dan guru praktisi 94%. uji coba terbatas dilakukan kepada 7 siswa, menghasilkan skor kepraktisan siswa sebesar 92% dan respon guru sebesar 90%, keduanya termasuk kategori sangat praktis. media ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi abstrak dan kompleks dengan visualisasi tiga dimensi yang interaktif. kata kunci: media pembelajaran, model borg & gall, penelitian dan pengembangan

This study aimed to develop pop up book learning media on the topic of the human blood circulatory system for class viii students at smp negeri 8 tarakan. the research method used was research and development (r&d with the borg & gall model, limited to the fifth stage, including needs analysis, planning, product, development, initial trials, and product revision. the validation results showed a very good level of feasibility, with scores from material experts of 91%, media experts 89%, and teacher practitioners 94%. the limited trial was conducted with 7 students, resulting in a student practicality score of 92% and a teacher response of 90%, both in the very practical category. this media was designed to improve students’ understanding of abstract and complex material with interactive three-dimensional visualization. keywords: learning media, borg & gall model, research and development
