Gadget memiliki fungsi yang baik untuk mendukung aktivitas sehari-hari sehingga mempermudah orang untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya terlebih mempermudah dalam berkomunikasi. tetapi jika penggunaan gadget tidak dapat dikontrol dengan baik maka dapat berdampak negatif bagi anak usia prasekolah terlebih dalam aktivitas sosialnya yaitu interaksi sosial. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan gadget dengan interaksi sosial anak usia pra sekolah di tk negeri pantai amal. jenis penelitian menggunakan desain analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 58 responden. teknik purposive sampling yang jumlah sampel 37 responden. instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara 2 variabel diperoleh analisa uji spearman rank di dapatkan ρ value= 0,001 < α 0,05 bermakna ada hubungan penggunaan gadget dengan interaksi sosial pada anak usia pra sekolah di tk negeri pantai amal. dengan keeratan hubungan dapat dilihat dari r hitung =-0,384 yang dikategorikan cukup ( 0,26-0,599 ). berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ada hubungan penggunaan gadget dengan interaksi sosial pada anak usia pra sekolah di tk negeri pantai amal. peneliti menyarankan untuk sebaiknya orang tua mampu membatasi penggunaan gadget anak. penggunaan gadget pada anak harus diberi batasan sesuai usia anak, anak 3-5 tahun diberikan batasan durasi bermain gadget kurang dari 1 jam perhari. orang tua juga harus mengawasi anak dalam menggunakan gadget dan konten yang anak lihat untuk meminimalisir sisi negatif penggunaan gadget yang dapat mempengaruhi interaksi sosial anak dengan lingkungannya. kata kunci: gadget, interaksi sosial, anak usia pra sekolah

Gadgets serve useful purposes in supporting daily activities, making it easier for people to meet their needs, particularly in terms of communication. however, improperly regulated gadget use might negatively affect pre-schoolers, particularly in their social activities, such as social engagement. the purpose of this study was to ascertain how pre-schoolers at pantai amal state kindergarten used gadgets and communicated with one another. this kind of study employed a cross-sectional methodology and an observational analytical design. there were 58 responders in the study's population. 37 respondents made up the sample size for the purposive sampling technique. this study's instrument employed a validity test. the findings of this study showed that there was a correlation between the use of gadgets and social contact among pre-schoolers at pantai amal state kindergarten, as indicated by the correlation between the two variables produced by the spearman rank test analysis, which had p value = 0.001 < 0.05. the computed r = -0.384, which was classified as adequate (0.26-0.599), showed how close the link was. the findings of this study demonstrated a connection between pre-schoolers' use of gadgets and social interaction at pantai amal state kindergarten. according to research, parents ought to have the authority to restrict their kids' usage of gadgets. youngsters' use of gadgets should be restricted based on their age; youngsters ages three to six were allowed to play with them for no more than an hour each day. in order to reduce the detrimental effects of gadget use on children's social connections with their surroundings, parents should also keep an eye on their children's use of gadgets and the content they view. keywords: gadgets, social interaction, preschool children
