Stabilisasi tanah lempung lunak. pertama, berapa besar peningkatan nilai uncofined conpression test (uct) tanah lempung lunak yang distabilisasi dengan campuran semen dan pasir berdasarkan kadar air optimum. kedua, berapa persentase bahan campuran semen dan pasir berdasarkan kadar air optimum yang harus dicampurkan agar diperoleh hasil yang maksimum terhadap parameter sifat fisik dan sifat mekanis pada tanah lempung lunak. ketiga, berapa lama masa peram tanah lempung lunak yang distabilisasi dengan campuran semen dan pasir berdasarkan kadair air optimum agar di peroleh hasil yang maksimum terhadap parameter sifat fisik dan sifat mekanis pada tanah lempung lunak. skripsi ini merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan di laboratorium universitas borneo tarakan. hasil dari penelitian ini penulis menyimpulkan bahwa: pertama, peningkatan nilai uncofined compression test (uct) tanah lempung lunak (soft clay soil) yang distabilisasi dengan semen dan pasir sebesar 164%. kedau, pengujian nilai uncofined compression test (uct) maka didapatkan persentase basah campuran tanah asli 88% + semen 2% + pasir 10% menimbulkan nilai uncofined compression test (uct) yang paling tinggi atau makimum. ketiga, lama masa peram yang paling maksimum pada pengujian uncofined compression test (uct) tanah lempung lunak terhadap sifat fisik dan sifat mekanis adalah 28 hari. kata kunci: uncofined compression test (uct), tanah lempung lunak, kadar air optimum

Soil stabilization of soft clay involves several key inquiries. first, what is the extent of the increase in unconfined compression test (uct) values for soft clay stabilized with a mixture of cement and sand based on optimum water content? second, what percentage of the cement and sand mixture, relative to the optimum water content, should be used to achieve maximum results conceming soft clay's physical and mechanical properties? third, how long should the curing period be for the soft clay stabilized with a cement and sand mixture at optimum water content to obtain optimal results concerning soft clay's physical and mechanical properties? this thesis presents research conducted at the university of borneo tarakan laboratory. the findings indicate that the uct value of soft clay stabilized with cement and sand increased by 164%. second, the testing of uct values revealed that a mixture comprising 88% original wet soil, 2% cement, and 10% sand yielded the highest uct value. third, the optimal curing period for the uct test of soft clay, concerning its physical and mechanical properties, is 28 days. keywords: unconfined compression test (uct), soft clay soil, optimum water content
