Buruh tani perempuan tidak hanya berperan sebagai ibu rumah tangga saja melainkan ikut serta dalam membantu ekonomi keluarga. tujuan penelitian ini untuk: 1) mengetahui rata-rata pendapatan buruh tani perempuan dalam usaha rumput laut di kelurahan pantai amal kota tarakan dan 2) mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh umur pekerja, curahan jam kerja, tingkat pendidikan, lama berkerja dan jenis pekerjaan terhadap pendapata buruh tani perempuan dalam usaha rumput laut di kelurahan pantai amal kota tarakan. teknik penentuan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan quota sampling, responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 120 orang yang terdiri dari pekerja pengikat rumput laut (bettang) dan buruh tani penjemur rumput laut. analisisi data dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis pendapatan dan analisis regresi linear berganda. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan buruh tani perempuan dalam usaha rumput laut di kelurahan pantai amal kota tarakan sebesar rp. 546.333, rata-rata pendapatan buruh tani perempuan pekerja pengikat rumput laut (bettang) sebesar rp.520.667, dan rata-rata pendapatan buruh tani perempuan penjemur rumput laut sebesar rp.572.000. koefisien determinasi sebesar 50,4%, uji hipotesis (uji f) menujukkan bahwa secara simultan umur pekerjaan, curahan jam kerja, tingkat pendidikan, lama berkerja dan jenis pekerjaan berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan buruh tani perempuan dalam usaha rumput di kelurahan pantai amal kota tarakan. uji hipotesis (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa umur pekerja, curahan jam kerja, dan jenis pekerjaan berpengaruh terhadap pendapaan buruh tani perempuan, sedangkan tingkat pendidikan dan lama berkerja tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap pendapatan buruh tani perempuan dalam usaha rumput laut di kelurahan pantai amal kota tarakan. kata kunci: rumput laut, perempuan, buruh tani

Female farmworkers not only play a role as housewives but also participate inhelping the family economy. the purpose of this research was to: 1) find out theaverage income of female farmworkers in the seaweed business in pantai amalvillage, tarakan city and 2) find out the influence of worker age, working hours,education level, length of work and type of work on the opinions of femalefarmworkers in the seaweed business in pantai amal village, tarakan city. thesampling technique of this study used quota sampling, the respondents amountedto 120 people consisting of seaweed binding workers (bettang) and seaweed dryingfarmworkers. data analysis was conducted using income analysis method andmultiple linear regression analysis. the results showed that the average income offemale farmworkers in the seaweed business in pantai amal village, tarakan citywas idr 546,333, the average income of female seaweed binding workers(bettang) was idr 520,667, and the average income of female seaweed dryingfarmworkers was idr 572,000. the coefficient of determination was 50.4%. thehypothesis test (f-test) shows that the age of work, the outflow of working hours,the level of education, the length of work and the type of work affect the income offemale farmworkers simultaneously in the seaweed business in pantai amalvillage, tarakan city. the hypothesis testing (t-test) shows that the age of workers,the outflow of working hours, and the type of work affect the income of femalefarmworkers, while the level of education and length of work have no influence onthe income of female farmworkers in the seaweed business in pantai amal vilage,tarakan city. keywords: seaweed, women, farmworker
