Abstrak Indonesia

Ikan nila merupakan ikan air tawar yang banyak dibudidayakan karena mudah beradaptasi dengan lingkungan. salah satu kendala dalam budidaya adalah tingginya biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk pakan. tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perbandingan perumbuhan ikan nila yang diberikan pakan buatan berbahan dasar dari tepung kepala ikan nomei dengan pakan komersil. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan 2 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. penelitian ini dilakukan selama 30 hari dari bulan september - oktober 2023 dengan perlakuan pemberian pakan terdiri p1 pakan komersil dan p2 pakan buatan dari tepung kepala ikan nomei. pemberian pakan dilakukan 3 kali sehari sebanyak 5%. data pertumbuhan yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji t-test, sedangkan data tambahan berupa kandungan nutrisi pakan dan kualitas air dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan membandingkan data sni. berdasarkan uji proksimat didapatkan kadar air pada pakan buatan yaitu 7%, kadar abu diperoleh 8%, kadar lemak diperoleh 12%, kadar kabrohidrat diperoleh 23,03%, kadar protein diperoleh 51,18%. hasil rata-rata pertumbuhan panjang dan berat mutlak pada p1 (pakan komersil) yaitu 2,79 cm dan 6,32 gr sedangkan pada p2 (pakan buatan) diperoleh panjang dan berat mutlak masing-masing 3,19 dan 8,3 gr. laju pertumbuhan spesifik (sgr) pada p1 diperoleh 5,79 sedangkan p2 sebesar 6,80. nilai kelangsungan hidup (sr) pada p1 dan p2 masing-masing sebesar 96% dan 98%. hasil pengukuran kualitas air didapatkan nilai ph pada p1 6,35 – 7,83 dan p2 6,35 – 7,56. nilai suhu pada p1 26,9 – 29,3 dan p2 27 – 29,7. hasil oksigen terlarut pada p1 4.4 dan p2 4 – 4.4. kandungan ammonia pada p1 sebesar 0,64 – 2,69 mg/l dan p2 0,4 – 1,77 mg/l. kesimpulan, perlakuan pakan buatan dari tepung kepala ikan nomei, mampu memberikan nilai pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup pada ikan nila lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan pakan komersil. kata kunci: kepala nomei, pakan, pertumbuhan, tepung ikan

Nile tilapia is a freshwater fish that is widely cultivated because it is easy to adapt to the environment. one of the obstacles in cultivation is the high cost incurred for feed. the purpose of this study was to analyze the comparison of nile tilapia fish growth given artificial feed made from nomei fish head meal with commercial feed. this study was an experimental study with 2 treatments and 5 repeats. this study was conducted for 30 days from september to october 2023 with feeding treatment consisting of p1 commercial feed and p2 artificial feed from nomei fish head meal. feeding is carried out 3 times a day by 5%. the growth data obtained were analyzed by t-test, while additional data in the form of feed nutrient content and water quality were analyzed descriptively by comparing sni data. based on the proximate test, the moisture content in artificial feed was 7%, ash content was obtained 8%, fat content was obtained 12%, carbohydrate content was obtained 23.03%, and protein content was obtained 51.18%. the average yield of absolute length and weight growth at pl (commercial feed) was 2.7 cm and 6.3 gr while in p2 (artificial feed) obtained length and absolute weight of 3.2 and 8.3 gr. the specific growth rate (sgr) at p1 was 5.8 while p2 was 6.8. the survival rate (sr) at pl and p2 was 96% and 98% respectively. the results of water quality measurements obtained ph values at pl was 6.35-7.83 and p2 was 6.35-7.56. a temperature value at pl was 26.9 29.3 and p2 was 27-29.7. dissolved oxygen result in pi was 4.4 and p2 was 4-4.4. the ammonia content in pl was 0.64-2.69 mg/1 and p2 was 0.4-1.77 mg1. in conclusion, the artificial feed treatment from nomei fish head meal was able to provide higher growth and survival values in nile tilapia compared to commercial feed treatment. keywords: nomei head, feed, growth, fish meal
