Box pendingin merupakan alat yang biasa digunakan untuk menyimpan material yang memerlukan temperatur dingin selama waktu tertentu. elemen peltier atau pendingin termoelektrik merupakan alat yang digunakan pada box pendingin ini. tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji seberapa efesien dan efektif box pendingin kapasitas 5 liter dalam mendinginkan botol air mineral dengan variasi 2, 4, 6, 8, dan 10 botol, yang masing-masing berisi 500 ml. melalui pengukuran dengan termometer dan stopwatch diperoleh bahwa box pendingin dapat mencapai temperatur 19,6℃ dalam waktu 10 - 120 menit. efisiensi box yang terukur melalui nilai cop (coefficient of performance) menunjukan nilai 0,087, dengan efektif mendinginkan 2 botol air mineral dengan temperatur 20, 9℃ selama 120 menit. kata kunci: box pendingin, cpo, efisiensi, efektivitas, termoelektrik

A box cooler is a device that stores materials that require a cool temperature for an extended period. a peltier element or thermoelectric cooling box. the research objective was to test how efficient and effective the five-liter box-coolant capacity was in cooling bottled sparkling water with variations of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10bottles, each containing 500 ml. a thermometer and stopwatch measurement showed the coolant box could reach 19, 6℃ in 10-120 minutes. the box efficiency measured by the coefficient of performance showed a value of 0.087, effectively cooling two bottles of sparkling water to a temperature of 19,9℃ for 120 minutes. keywords: box coolers, efficiency, effectiveness, thermoelectric
