Abstrak Indonesia

Studi ini mencoba untuk menguraikan motivasi siswa terhadap pembelajaran daring selama pandemi covid-19 di jurusan pendidikan bahasa inggris universitas borneo tarakan. rancangan penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai mixed method research (mmr). subyek penelitian ini adalah 152 mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan bahasa inggris tahun ajaran 2020 dan 2021, fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan universitas borneo tarakan. penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling untuk pemilihan subjek. variabel penelitian ini adalah motivasi intrinsik (x1) motivasi ekstrinsik (x2) sebagai variabel bebas dan ipk (y) sebagai variabel terikat. instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data. kuesioner yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner tertutup. untuk mengisi kuesioner, penelitian ini akan melakukan wawancara untuk mendapatkan pemahaman lebih lanjut. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi siswa selama pembelajaran daring baik, baik motivasi intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik baik, dan hasil wawancara juga mendukung hasil dari angket. dan terdapat hubungan antara motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik terhadap prestasi belajar, sehingga semakin tinggi motivasi siswa maka semakin tinggi pula indeks prestasi kumulatif (ipk). key words: motivasi, online learinng.

This study attempted to outline the students' motivation toward online learning during covid-19 pandemic at english education department of borneo tarakan university. the design of this study was categorized as mixed method research (mmr). the subject of this study were 152 students from english education department, faculty of teacher training and education of borneo tarakan university in the academic year 2020/2021. the variables of this research were intrinsic motivation (x1), extrinsic motivation (x2) as the independent variables, and gpa (y) as the dependent variable. the data were collected using a questionnaire, interview, and documentation. the questionnaire was in the form of a close-ended. the interview was conducted to gain a more in-depth understanding. the results of this study showed that students' motivation during online learning both intrinsic and extrinsic was good, and the interview results also supported the results of the questionnaire. thus, there was a correlation between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on learning achievement, which meant that there was a tendency that the higher the student's motivation the higher the student's gpa (grade point average). keywords: motivation, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, gpa.
