Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode peer teaching (tutor sebaya) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas ix smp negeri 4 tarakan. penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain peneitian posttest only control design. penelitian ini dilakukan di smp negeri 4 tarakan dengan populasi penelitian ialah kelas ix tahun ajaran 2022/2023. pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling dan diperoleh kelas ix-8 sebagai kelas kontrol dan ix-10 sebagai kelas eksperimen. pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes uraian. teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. analisis deskriptif menggunakan perhitungan rata-rata dan standar deviasi. analisis inferensial menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui 4,140 >1,672 maka h0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat pengaruh metode peer teaching (tutor sebaya) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas ix smp negeri 4 tarakan. kata kunci: peer teaching (tutor sebaya), hasil belajar matematika

This study aimed to determine the effect of peer teaching on the results of learning mathematics for class ix students of smp negeri 4 tarakan. this research is included in the type of quasi-experimental research with the post-test only control. this research was conducted at smpn 4 tarakan, with the research population being class ix for the 2022/2023 academic year. sampling was done using simple random sampling and obtained class ix-8 as the control class and ix-10 as the experiment class. collecting data in this study used a description test instrument. the data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. the descriptive analysis uses average and standard deviation calculations. inferential analysis using independent sample t-test. based on the research results, it is known that 4.140 > 1.671, then h0 is rejected, which means that peer teaching influences the mathematics learning outcomes of class ix students of smp negeri 4 tarakan. keywords: peer teaching, mathematics learning outcomes
