Berdasarakan hasil observasi, pada siswa kelas iv sdn 003 tanjung palas barat ditemukan adanya permasalahan, yaitu 1) siswa kurang memperhatikan penjelasaan guru, 2) siswa tidak berani bertanya walaupun siswa tersebut belum memahami materi pelajaran, 3) hasil belajar siswa yang masih kurang, 4) saat diberikan tugas siswa tidak menyelesaikannya. jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk) yang dilaksanakan di sd 003 tanjung palas barat pada semester ii tahun ajaran 2013/2014, dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas iv sdn 003 tanjung palas barat. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar ipa aspek kognitif, psikomotorik dan afektif siswa pada materi kerusakan lingkungan melalui pendekatan scientifik di kelas iv sdn 003 tanjung palas barat. penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. instrumen penelitian untuk memperoleh data perkembangan siswa adalah observasi terhadap perilaku siswa, lembar penilaian aspek psikomotorik. lembar penilaian aspek afektif, dan tes hasil belajar. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada hasil belajar siswa. hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil yang diperoleh dari setiap siklus, pada siklus 1 pertemuan pertama dengan nilai rata- rata 670, pertemuan ke dua 700, dan pada siklus ii pertemuan pertama dengan nilai rata- rata 750, dan pertemuan kedua 810. maka dapat dikatakan bahwa penelitian sudah berhasil dan sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan. berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan penggunaan pendekatan scientifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar ipa pada materi kerusakan lingkungan siswa kelas iv sdn 003 tanjung palas barat. kata kunci: hasil belajar, pendekatan scientific, kerusakan lingkungan

Based on the results of observations, the fourth-grade students of ssdn 003 palas wastern cape find any problems, namely 1) students lack attention to of the teacher’s explanation, 2) students are no asked yet although the students understand the subject matter, 3) student learning outcomes were still lecting, 4) when the student is given the task did not finish it. the type of research that is used by researchers is classroom action research (car), which was conducted in sd 003 palas wastern cape in the second semester 2013/2014 school year, the research subjects ware 003 fourth grade students palas wastern cape. this research aims to improve science learning outcomes cognitive, psychomotor an affective student on environmental degradation of material through scientific approach in fourth grade 003 palas wastern cape. research was conducted in two cycles where each cycle consists of 2 meetings. research instrument to obtain data on student growth is the observation of student behavior, psychomotor aspects of assessment sheets. affective aspects of the study sheets, and achievement test. affective aspects of the study sheets, and achievement test. the results showed that an increase in student learning outcomes. this can be seen from the results obtained from each cycle, the first cycle of the first meeting with an average value of 670, the second meeting of 700, and the second cycle the first meeting with an average value of 750, and a second meeting 810. it can be said that research has been successful and in accordance with the indicators of success. based on the results of this study concluded that by implementing the use scientific approach can improve learning outcomes in material science environmental degradation 003 fourth grade students of sdn palas wastern cape. keywords: learning outcomes, scientific approach, environmental degradation
