Penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar ips pada materi perkembangan teknologi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture di kelas iv sdn 001 long peso. penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk) dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/pengamatan dan refleksi. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdapat 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan. instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, lembar penilaian psikomotorik siswa, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa dan lembar aktivitas pengamatan guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran. rata-rata hasil belajar pada aspek psikomotorik untuk semua aspek yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus i ke siklus ii meningkat sebesar 14,21. sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar pada aspek kognitif meningkat dari siklus i ke siklus ii. maka, presentase keberhasilan belajar secara klasikal pada siklus i sebesar 64,29% meningkat menjadi 82,14% pada siklus ii. kesimpulan penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk) ini adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture pada materi perkembangan teknologi di kelas iv sdn 001 peso dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. kata kunci: hasil belajar, ips, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture

This research was to improve the student's achievement on natural science in technology development through cooperative learning type picture at picture at fourth grade of sdn 001 peso. the research design of this research was class action research (car), it consisted of four steps, the first step was planning, the second is implementing, the third is observation sheet dan test. based on the result of this research, the average of the students' performance on psychomotor can be seen from the first cycle to the second cycle was 14.21% improving. meanwhile, the student’s cognitive performance can be seen from the first cycle to the second cycle was 82.14% improving. it can be concluded that cooperative learning type picture and picture can improve the students' performance at fourth grade of sdn 001 peso. keywords: students performance, natural science, and cooperative learning
