Tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia materi membaca penggunaan alat menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picturedi kelas iv sdn 006 sesayap hilir. dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk) dengan dua siklus. bentuk tes berupa uraian dan bersifat individu. soal disesuaikan dengan tujuan instruksional khusus yang telah dirumuskan. subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas iv sdn 006 sesayap hilir dengan jumlah siswa 13 orang. teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif (sikap siswa) dan kuantitatif (nilai hasil belajar siswa). hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar ipa siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe picture and picture pada materi membaca penggunaan alat. rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 55,5% pada siklus i menjadi 88,8% pada siklus ii. peningkatan tersebut membuktikan bahwa tingkat penguasaan siswa dapat dikategorikan baik. kata kunci: hasil belajar, pembelajaran picture and picture

The objectives of this research is to improve students’ learning achievements on bahasa indonesia subject’s material of reading the instruction in using a tool by using cooperative learning model type picture and picture model at fourth grade students of sdn 006 sesayap hilir. in conducted this research, the researcher used classroom action research (car) with two cycles. the tests were in the form of individual filled questions. the questions were suited with special instructional purpose which has been formulated. the subjects of this research were 13 fourth grade students of sdn 006 sesayap hilir. the techniques of data analysis used were qualitative data (students’ attitudes) and quantitative data (students’ learning achievements). the analysis results showed that there was an improvement on students’ learning achievements on bahasa indonesia subject by the application of picture and picture model on the material of reading the instruction in using a tool. the mean of the students’ achievements improved from 55.5% at cycle i to 88.8% at cycle ii. that improvement proved that students’ masteries level can be categorized as good. keywords: learning achievement, picture and picture
