
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Talking Stick Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Materi Pecahan Di Kelas V SDN 011 Tanjung Selor

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas v sdn 011 tanjungselor, adapun yang melatar belakanginya yaitu berdasarkan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa hanya sekitar 60 % ( 9 orang ) yang mendapat nilai ≤ rata-rata 65 dengan nilai rata rata 64. maka dari itu peneliti melakukan ptk dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick. berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka peneliti merumuskan masalah yaitu, “bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan di kelas v sdn 011 tanjung selor?“, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatakan hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick pada siswa kelas v sdn 011 tanjung selor tahun pembelajaran 2015/2016. penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas, yang berlangsung sebanyak dua siklus,. penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membandingkan penelitian siklus i dan siklus ii dan masing – masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas v sdn 011 tanjung selor yang berjumlah 15 siswa, objek penelitian adalah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick. prosedur penelitian yang digunakan adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi. sedangkan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi pada setiap siklusnya. analisis data menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari nilai rata-rata data siswa siklus i sebesar 63,93 dengan kriteria cukup dan meningkat pada siklus ii sebesar 70,8 dengan criteria baik serta persentase ketuntasannya adalah dari 46,67% meningkat menjadi 80% lebih dari indikator keberhasil klasikal 75%. berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi pecahan pada siswa kelas v sdn 011 tanjung selor sehingga penelitian ini dikatakan telah berhasil. kata kunci: hasil belajar, pecahan, model talking stick

This study was conducted in the fifth grade students at sdn 011 tanjung selor, this study was happen based on the result of the criteria of success, there were 60% (9 students) got score ≤ 65 students got score 64. based on the background, the researcher conducted class action research by applying cooperative learning model type talking stick and had the problem statement entitled “ how the application of cooperative learning model type talking stick to improve the learning result of mathematic in the fraction material at fifth grade students at sdn 011 tanjungselor?”, with the objective of the research was to improve the learning result of mathematic in the fraction material by applying cooperative learning model type talking stick in the fifth grade students at sdn 011 tanjung selor, in academic year 2015/2016. this research employed class action research (car), by conducting in 2 cycles. this study was conducting by compering first cycle and second cycle. for each cycles conducting by 2 meetings. the subject of this study was the fifth grade students at sdn 011 tanjung selor with the total 15 students, the object of this study was used cooperative learning model type talking stick. the procedure of this research was used planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. meanwhile, the data was collected by using observation sheets, test and documentation in each cycle. the data analysis showed that the learning result of the students in every cycle had the improvement there were from the average of students’ score in first cycle was 63,93 classified in fair category and got the improvement in the second cycle was 70,8 classified in good category and the passing percentage from 46,67% became 80% more than the indicator of classical success 75%. based on the result of this study it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model type talking stick was improving the learning result of mathematic in the fraction material at the fifth-grade students of sdn 011 tanjung selor and in other word, this study was success. keywords: learning result, fraction, talking stick model
