Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran ipa materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture di kelas iv sdn 008 sesayap. penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (ptk) dengan dua siklus. bentuk tes berupa soal isian dan bersifat individu. soal disesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang telah dirumuskan. subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas iv sdn 008 sesayap dengan jumlah siswa 7 orang. teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif (sikap siswa) dan kuantitatif (nilai hasil belajar siswa). hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar ipa siswa melalui penerapan metode picture and picture pada materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan. rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 64,2 pada siklus i menjadi 85,7 pada siklus ii. peningkatan tersebut membuktikan bahwa tingkat penguasaan siswa dapat dikategorikan baik. kata kunci: hasil belajar, penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture

The objective of this research is to improve students’ learning achievements on natural science subject’s material of structures and functions of the parts of plants by using picture and picture model at fourth grade students of sdn 008 sesayap. in conducted this research, the researcher used classroom action research (car) with two cycles. the tests were in the form of individual filled questions. the questions were suited with special instructional purpose which has been formulated. the subjects of this research were 7 fourth grade students of sdn 008 sesayap. the techniques of data analysis used were qualitative data (students’ attitudes) and quantitative data (students’ learning achievements). the analysis results showed that there was an improvement on students’ learning achievements on natural science subject by the application of picture and picture model on the material of structures and functions of the parts of plants. the mean of the students’ achievements improved from 6,2 at cycle i to 85,7 at cycle ii. that improvement proved that students’ masteries level can be categorized as good. keywords: learning achievement, the application of picture and picture learning model
