Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar ipa siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe mind mapping dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe stad di kelas iv sdn 028 tarakan. jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen semu. penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan maret 2018. dengan populasi siswa kelas iv sdn 028 tarakan dan sampel yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas iv b sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas iv a sebagai kelas kontrol. teknik dalam pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. data hasil penelitian diolah dengan bantuan software spss v.21 for windows. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ipa siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe mind mapping dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe stad. hasil uji independent sample t-test pada hasil belajar ipa siswa diperoleh thitung = 0,02 pada taraf signifikasi 0,05 dan df = 66, diperoleh ttabel = 1,99 berarti thitung ? ttabel. dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedan hasil belajar ipa siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe mind mapping dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe stad pada siswa kelas iv sdn 028 tarakan. kata kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe mind mapping, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe stad, hasil belajar, ipa

This research aimed to find out the differences the result of science studentd’ score with applied cooperative learning model mind mapping type with cooperative learning model stad type in fourth grade at sdn 028 tarakan. the design of this research was quasi experiment. the research was implemented in march 2018. the population was fourth grade at sdn 028 tarakan and the samples were two classes, iv b as experiment class and iv a as control class. the technique was choosen the sample is purposive sampling. the result of the research was processed by software spss v.21 for windows. the result showed that there was no differences of the result science students’ score between applied cooperative learning model mind mapping type and cooperative learning model stad type. the result of independent ttest toward the result science students’ score was tcount = 0,02 to significant taraf = 0,05 and df = 66 and for ttable = 1,99 if means tcount ? ttable. from explanation above, there was no differences between the result of science students’ score which applied cooperative learning model mind mapping type and cooperative learning model stad type to fourth grade students at sdn 028 tarakan. keywords: cooperative learning model mind mapping type, cooperative learning model stad type, the result students’ score, science
